At Gayane's

Hidden Gem if there ever was one! The food was great and the people were so welcoming. It is a hard to find location but worth seeking it out. There is lovely garden seating as well as cozy inside rooms as well. This is a must visit place. Thank you Anthony Bourdain for finding this for us.

You have to try the local cheese plate + the fresh herbs combo. So gooood. We were very satisfied with the food. I highly recommend this place. This is altough a little tricky to find the place, don't give up bc you can't find it easily.

Loved this place! Reminded me of having lunch at my grandma’s house. Great traditional Armenian dishes and cute kittens running around the backyard. Feels very homely with a very unique family dining experience. The hosts are very friendly. #BeatTheGrind

There's a lot of points to visit,
Sauntering through in Yerevan.
But this place is great, don't miss it,
Don't pass by this joy and fun!

This is a must visit if you are in Yerevan. The restaurant itself is quite difficult to find, you must go through the arch where there is a coffee shop and then the signs will direct you. Once you are there you will not be disappointed. The owner is wonderful and gave us a tour of the building which has an interesting history. The food is also great, the tolma is a must try.

The rave reviews aren't wrong! At Gayane's is a cosy place with delicious home cooked food. Gayane was kind enough to try and explain some of the Armenian dishes to me and her meal recommendations were spot on. The eggplant dolma especially was super tasty. Prices really reasonable especially for the portion size!

The place is a bit hard to find - best is to walk in through the arches at 35 on Tumayan street then turn right and walk all the way down to the end where the restaurant sign is softly illuminated. If you see a small park you've gone the wrong way!

Difficult to find. Go from Tumanyan street and always keep right. In the place which looks like parking place you will suddenly see a house with garden which is actually the restaurant.
Living room feel, with great food at reasonable prices. We waited a bit longer for meat to be ready.

An amazing hidden gem in Yerevan. My friend and I visited for dinner and the owner himself welcomed us as if we were old friends. Not only has Anthony Bourdaine visited here, Hayk the owner will make you feel right at home with his homemade dessert, and even some mulberry vodka shots! The xash soup there was really something quite unique. Truly amazing venue. 10/10 recommend

Whoever say “good luck finding this place” was not kidding. The food cannot be faulted and the hospitality of the service team and hosts is spot on (even thought language can be a barrier. It’s tucked inside the maze of building. So here is a tip - walk to the next building complex and enter and follow the sign of “Resturant” you can’t go wrong. But if this is not helpful - use the Yandex.Taxi app and get the building number and then find tour way (I mean follow the restaurant sign leading into the set of buildings

For our last night in Yerevan, my wife and me decided to avoid all these mainstream and touristic Armenian restaurants. We were looking for something cosy and authentic and we hit gold at Gayane's
The place is a gem hidden in the heart of Yerevan, inside and entrance to habitations...not visible from the street, so you'll have to deserve it :)
The lady who owned this place, also lives there. You'll technically be like a guest in her own home.
If you are looking for a genuine and authentic experience, you'll be at the right place.
The food is authentic and delicious. My wife and me felt like we were having dinner at an aunt's place.
Gayanei took the time to explain us the menu and the origin of her restaurant.
At the end of the dinner we even had the honor to listen her playing a few songs on the piano in the dining room (and the other guests also join to dance and clap in their hands)...She used to be a musician.
There are a few reasons wich make me want to come back to visit again Armenia. "Gayane's" (especially the lovely owner) is one of them

Very cozy and tasty restaurant, not expensive. A bit hard to find the entrance, but when you see sign Restaurant that's it.

Incredible place that’s incredibly hard to find so check their website! Amazingly friendly restaurant owner and staff, very very tasty food and great atmosphere. Must go.

Unforgettable "Home-made" dinner, the owner and the staff were simply amazing, it was like a family dinner, singing and dancing with the other customers...

It was a perfect evening, both food and atmosphere are marvelous!
