Evocabank "Tumanyan" Branch

My personal experience with this branch is very positive: in the end all my requirements were fulfilled and all the problems were solved. It took time, patience and openminded approach, which I was prepared for, considering my case (a foreigner and a business customer with a non-trivial business).

From the customer's perspective: 50% of the delay comes from the loosely designed backoffice processes (almost every operation is done only with an obligatory manual approval from "central office"). More automation and a better branch autonomy would greatly benefit the customer experience.

30% of the delay comes from lack of clarity in internal guides and misscomunication: I was given 3 different answers for the same question (which login methon shall my accountant use to connect to the corporate account) in the scope of 1 week, and each time the answer came from the "central office". They even issued a hardware digital pass once just to take it back after 4 days: it worked fine, but they "were not allowed to give it to foreigners". I'm patient and do know, that the local stuff is not to blame here, but the sitiation itself is both annoying, confusing and costly for business.

20% of the delay comes from either lack of training, weak corporate culture or the lack of experience: on several occasions I had to suggest a solution on my own to make things happen or come back and push them to escalate the issue with "central office" just to learn, that the issue was either resolved yesterday or I had to provide something, but was not notified about that. It is not really a big issue but rather a room for improvement though. Don't get me wrong: I would pick the stuff and professionalism of this branch over anu other bank in the whole Armenia, I didn't have any better experience in any other branch here.

Достаточно хороший курс обмена рублей на драмы. Именно тут менял. Приятный и общительный персонал, быстрое обслуживание.

It’s one of the best bank in Armenia. But there is no western union for money transfer in this country.

Обменивал валюту в этом офисе evoca, решил чтоб побыстрее через банкомат-обменник. Мне обменяли 200 долларов на 200 драм, а должны были в 386 раз больше, очевидно техническая ошибка. Пришлось писать заявление что я хочу вернуть доллары(так как нужную сумму обменял уже в окошке через сотрудника) и ждать, на следующий день сказали приходить без очериди в 1 окно, в итоге этот безочередной проход я ждал 50 минут, так как последний клиент там очень задержался, по обычной очереди я бы прошел быстрее в два раза. И вместо долларов мне выдали драмы, которые были мне уже не нужны, ведь я просил вернуть доллары.
Итог - потраченное время и деньги на такси, никаких компенсаций за это не было.
В общем банк молодой и процессы по разрешению конфликтов и ошибок выстроены ужасно, если бы мне сразу вернули доллары а потом уже разбирались со своими ошибками претензий бы не было никаких, а так впечатление ужасное
