Jezerca Guest House

When we arrived in valbona we were starving and this was recommended by our hotel. We had a great lunch.

There is a beautiful garden with spacious outside seating to host big and small groups. The menu is dependent on the day and availability. We had grilled vegetables. Home made fries and chicken. Which were all well prepared and tasted great!

Service was good considering it was very busy.
We did not sleep here so no idea about the rooms.

Marvelous location with great views when leaving your house. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well. We wanted to leave early to the hike (6:30) and still they prepared a takeaway breakfast/lunch and dropped us off at the start of the hike. Much appreciated! The food was delicious as well and the red house wine tasted like a premium one. The peace around the property was perfect to have a good rest. Great value for money and would recommend to anyone!

They were really nice and accommodating, the room was so lovely and comfortable and all the buildings are really new. Owned and ran by a family who were born and raised in the mountains. Really special little establishment. (The house wine is a treat). Thanks for everything!

Had lunch there, and later came back for drinks. fantastic food and a lovely setting. Run by a local family who have had the restaurant for the last 20 years, we had great service. The outside garden and stream was so cute. Didn't stay there, but looking at the rooms, im kinda gutted we didn't.

Had food next door too - the food at Jezerca was soooo much better.

The evening meal was amazing! Standard food (Greek salad, potatoes, roasted veg) but prepared really well.

The only negative is that it is located at the farthest point from the hike to theth. But this isn't a problem because we got a ride to the start of the hike anyway.

Could not have had a better stay! Everyone at the guest house was amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate our group. The food was beyond incredible with so many different options and flavors. Our hike was a bit rainy, so to wake up to a sunny morning and no clouds was perfect. The gorgeous view of all the peaks was the highlight of the trip. Great experience and nice and relaxing way to finish out the trip.

Absolutely love the room we stayed in! Million dollar view with a fraction of the price. Service is awesome! Food is delicious and home cooked. If you're lucky you may get a free raki shot on the house!

It's a memorable place: the views are fantastic, food is great, cabins are very clean and comfortable. Also, the staff is friendly.

We did not stay in the guesthouse but ate there for dinner which was very good. We had the fresh fish which was probably the best we had in Albania. I would definitely recommend to have dinner there

Best place in Valbona to eat! One of the only restaurants we ate at that served freshly made, quality food. The fish was delicious, as were the grilled vegetables and the baked potato’s. For the salad they even used those pink, juicy tomatoes. The staff was super kind and spoke very good English. We paid €9 for fresh fish (recommendation!), €5 for the potato’s, €5 for the grilled vegetables and €4 for the salad. Good price-quality, and they even use the correct currency. You can eat inside or outside, both places are equally enjoyable. Must visit when you are in Valbona!

As soon as you come in you are very welcomed by lovely locals who are kind to help you check in and book not only the way back, but also a nice dinner! Very friendly, would recommend!

Probably the most amazing view I've ever had to wake up to. The cabins are warm, rustic and modern all at the same time. The food was good and the service was friendly and family style. The dogs are super cute and friendly.

We were here 2 nights, in a hiking Tour trip.
Room's in Jezerca Guest House are perfec, clean, quite and comfortable with amazing view of Alps.

I absolutely loved this place. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. And the room had a huge panoramic window with a stunning view over the mountains - simply amazing. Food was very tasty. The hosts were lovely and very helpful with every matter. To the Trailhead to Theth it is around 45-60 minutes walk, but the other trails are very close. I definitely recommend and would stay there again.

The experience was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. The rooms and the location are absolutely idyllic! Everything was perfect from the hotel, rooms, staff, food and services and special thanks to the hosts! They made our stay one of a kind! Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Came for dinner - perfect post walking food, particularly the grilled veg! The owners are very welcoming and helped us find a bus to Fierze the next day despite not staying at Jezerca

Been going to Jezerca Guesthouse from 9 years now. The new huts are great. You have your privacy, and in the meantime be near the restaurant where you can socialize with the staff and the other guests. The water springs in the property are a good source of fresh, cold, mountain water and you can also put your tent near them 🥰 There is a grassy field to play and camp also. A unique place in Valbona, if you go there to explore the valley! The staff are the only ones I met, able to show and point you to the right mountain paths for a great experience.

We had the double room with a really stunning views , staff were really friendly and helped us to find some nice trails and hiking spots , worth every peny and definitely coming back !!!

We came in mid Oktober and had no booking, but they offered us one of the little cabins immediately! It was 45€ and you could pay in € or LEK. The cabin was really clean and modern and the heating was really powerful, so it got warm quickly. :)

(⚠In Valbona there is no ATM, so bring cash!!!!!⚠)

There is one main “house” in where is a restaurant and free wifi. In the morning you get a good breakfast there as well. You can’t chose anything they just bring you bread, eggs, marmelade, coffee… But it was really good. 😊⭐

The owners (i think two brothers) are really friendly and warm-hearted.

Maybe the only minus was, that they had no menu to choose from for dinner. You just ask and he basically brings you what you want if they have it… :)
We had some lamb, fries and roasted vegetables. It was really delicious. 😊⭐

We would totally recommend this accommodation! I think even the albanian locals love it for holiday, because there were plenty other guests.

If you want to hike the famous Valbona - Theth hike you need to go down the village street for 40 minutes and then the trail will start. But don’t be worried, the 40 minutes through the village are WONDERFUL! It is so picturesque and beautiful, i would definitely walk it… :)

Everything was perfect, the room and bathroom where super clean. You have a breathtaking view from the room and a really cool garden. Food was delicius...traditional and everything was fresh!!!
