Hotel Rilindja

I really enjoyed my stay at Alfred. The rooms are out of wood and really cosy, the view on the forest is nice, the location great for hikes and even campers that bring a van. I can also recommend the food and sitting outside in the garden when the weather is good.

Beautiful diner spot! Big portions and free water - first time we had this in albania😁 ate the livers, but not my cup of tea 😂 girlfriend ate linguini with fish and had her leftovers which was very good!

Hotel Rilindja is one of the best and oldest hotels in Valbone and it’s amazing! The owner Alfred is so kind and knowledgeable and helped us a lot planning our hikes and transport. The place is beautiful and our room was lovely. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed at the mixed dorms, the beds are great and (I believe) brand new, the people that work here are super friendly and try very hard, their English is sometimes a little lacking so there can be some miss understanding I believe, but that is fine. The place is located at a really nice and quiet spot. It is indeed a bit further from the hiking trail, never the less (in our case) the owner was willing to give us a lift all the way to the beginning of the trail wich made it a really comfortable start for us. :)

Restaurant: Best food experience I had in Albania. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, super delicious food and a very pleasant and tidy environment.

I only camped and I am vegetarian. This place exceeded my expectations. The toilets are super clean and you can have a really good, hot shower! The food was delicious and prices are not overwhelming. A good stop, recommended.

We did not stay or eat there, but as much as we can advice it's the only place to get good hiking maps for the area. The guy there made them on his own by GPS tracking, they are really good. Just ask there and you can buy one for 300lek. Enough routes for a stay of a few days in Valbone!

We dropped herr just for a breakfast cycling down from Valbone - and were surprise by quality and taste of food and kindness of staff. Breakfast for two costed 10 EUR and was great! Go and check!

We stayed 3 night in Rilindja and it was amazing ! The place is warm and we can see the mountains through the windows ! The hosts are super nice, the breakfast is huge and delicious and the restaurant is the best of Valbona. We highly recomand this place !

Lovely campsite behind the hotel, good food in the restaurant, very helpful staff (speaks English), and accept both LEK and EURO, which is a plus if you hike in from Montenegro, as there are no ATM's on the Albanian side of the mountains.

We had a really lovely experience staying in the beautiful mountains of Valbona with Rilinja. We set up our tent by the river at the back of the site, which was incredibly peaceful and cozy. The facilities were exceptionally clean, and the food (dinner & breakfast) and service at the restaurant was wonderful. Highly recommended!

The Lamb was delicious, service prompt and professional and very friendly staff who answered a number of questions we had about hikes in the area and conditions etc.

Absolutely delicious local trout (filleted) in white wine and lemon sauce. Very reasonable prices.

Spectacular location, excellent service and delicious home made food. The prices are really good. You should visit this place if you are in Valbone.

The owner is really nice and can give hiking tour advice. Also the hotel hast a good and cheap restaurant attached.

We stayed at the guesthouse hostel up the road and it was brilliant. Catherine is an amazing help for anything to do with the valley.

Resturant have very good breakfast omelet s and crepes …. Very tasty , sure we will come for dinner

We just passed by their cafe for a beer and the place seemed nice and cozy.
