Mai Chau Homestay Countryside

We only ate at restaurant but as it was so good returned on two further occasions. The food was so fresh and so good. The family running the place were friendly and helpful. It takes 20 mins to come but that is because it is cooked from fresh. Lovely peaceful location with stunning views across the paddy fields.

We only tried the restaurant but it was lovely. Amazing atmosphere and views to the rice paddies. We mentioned we're in a rush and the owners offered us quick options (spring rolls and a meatball dish) which were both delicious. Great place

The restaurant is lovely, the food is homecooked and delicious. Toan and his family really look after you. BUT - please plan accordingly because the food takes almost an hour given it is family run. It is worth it (especially the Mai Chau salad!) but please plan accordingly and sit down with the expectation that food will take a while.

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely enjoyed our time here. They have one of the cutest homestays in the area, in the middle of one of Mai Chau’s charming villages. The hotel location is quiet and the view cannot be beat. The owners, a young couple with two kids are wonderful hosts and very helpful. Their restaurants has delicious food and they provide simple yet great breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice homestay with rooms looking over the rice fields. The staff was very helpful and organised taxi/bus/rental for us.

If you are not here overnight, try out their drinks and food while enjoying the view.

Such an amazing stay! The staff were so friendly, the rooms were simple but perfect and the food at the restaurant was fantastic.

It was exactly as it was described. It’s perfectly located overlooking the beautiful mountains providing the best views anytime during the day. The hosts were very welcoming and made my stay even better. They provide simple and local breakfast options which was great, specially enjoyed the Pho and the fresh squeezed juice.

Coming to the room, it’s located in the first floor and has an amazing balcony. It’s the highlight and one can sit here and enjoy the view for hours. The room has been done beautifully, completely in wood.

In-fact entire property has been done very tastefully indeed, with a beautiful pond (with a table arrangement at the centre) and a cafe at the entrance.

Didn't stay here but came for food and the unspoilt view. Lovely friend rice and soup.

Great view from the courtyard. Location is close to the village and a short walk to the main strip.

There is a stall selling beer and snacks nextdoor.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The homestay is very picturesque set right on the edge of rice fields with a mountainous back drop. The family here is very welcoming and took great care to help us with everything we needed. It's worth it to have drinks and dinner here. Be sure to drink a shot of Home Made Rice wine with the patriarch of the family when he offers. It is very good.

I highly recommend this homestay! Nice location inside the Lac Village but quiet at night, the homestay itself faces the rice fields and the valley. Nice and friendly family runs this homestay. Foods are awesome! They serve mini breakfast buffet with toast, eggs, pancakes, congee, fruits and more! We also ordered their food for lunch and dinner. The Mai Chau salad with papaya and banana flower is fresh, crunchy and tasty! Spring rolls are full of flavour too! The room is clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable (quite a soft one in the standard here). The shower is hot and strong. A chill place to relax!

Great stay in Mai Chau! Room was clean and bed was comfy. Bathroom was new. The view from the room was amazing, overlooking the rice fields. The owners were very friendly, helping us with recommendations in the area. Breakfast: you can ask for eggs which tasted very fresh. Would definitely recommend this homestay!

This place was soooo pretty! We have never had a room with such a pretty view: wow! The owners were so so so kind and helpfull - the food was the best vietnamese food we’ve had in 3 weeks Vietnam🥰

Great place to stay. Super friendly owners. Superb view. Good food (especially the Bún Bò and the green papaya salad). Breakfast has all I need (good coffee, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, and fried/scrambled eggs)

I came upon this place by chance but what a lovely surprise. My room looked over the rice field and waking up to the sun rise over the field was breathtaking. Lovely balcony to chill too. Will definitely stay here again.

It was such a nice place, the view from the sitting area is especially stunning, you're right in the middle of rice paddies, the food was good and cheap, the dorm is really cheap (100k) and comes with an amazing free breakfast. We slept well, it's mattresses on the floor but still really comfy, comes with a mosquito net, blankets and towels. The bathrooms were clean. It looked amazing as well to book one of the private rooms with a view even if it was way over our budget for us, I would still definitely recommend for people with more money to spend. Would go back again for sure.

A great view of the rice fields, best dinner and very nice and helpfull stuff...one of the best places of my Ho Chi Minh Pad tour with my Honda, I will come back soon
