We got here and they were closed. We sat at the tables and they arrived and opened. We ordered a whole fried fish and showed them a photo and they made it just like that. Their salad. Both tasted great.

Wonderful food, the portion is really big so be mindful when you order food.
The place could do a with a bit cleaning, it’s also riddled with mosquitoes. Bring your spray 🦟

Nice quiet location, food is very tasty and fair portions, prices are honest. Family owners are very kind. I stayed in Mai chau for 4 days and came here few times to enjoy the food and the chill vibe. Recommended

This place is a life saver! 🙌 With so few restaurants with explicit vegetarian & vegan menus, it’s hard to find “safe” food in Mai Chau. The prices are pretty alright for the portion, though we found the food, especially the spring rolls & fried noodles, rather greasy 😬 Only one member of staff speaks English. I’d suggest you keep Google Translate on hand if you need to communicate. I’d highly recommend the “Piper Lolot Leaf Rolls With Tofu And Mushrooms” & their fresh spring rolls, though you will have to roll it yourself 😅 If you’re a vegan, I recommend checking that every dish is egg-free. The tofu luckily is, but we didn’t check for the fresh spring roll so they included it anyways, albeit luckily separated from the rest of the ingredients. There’s actually some pretty decent food here 😋

The food was really good. One of the best places I’ve tried in Vietnam. Delicious vegan options

We had dinner here 2 times. Service was all over the place. They confused the orders of the different tables repeatedly. They had a huge menu wich we understood probably the third of since it was not all translated. They did not really speak english so we simply could not try some of the various ethnic dishes that they had wich was a shame! But what we ate was excellent without exception! We tried 7 different dishes all super fresh and very well done! I saw them cutting the beef in the kitchen. The food arrived quick and was very hot, they had just prepared it. Prices are definitely elevated. For us worth it!

Went for lunch and liked it so much we went back for dinner. Kitchen and dining area very clean, vegetables were extremely fresh, and cooking was homely and done with great care. Loved the spring rolls, both fresh and fried, and the omelette was amazingly crisp yet fluffy. Highly recommended, good service, serve staff uses translation app to communicate.

A must-go place if you are into vegetarian food. We had tofu wirh lemongrass chili, stir-fried glass noodle, springrolls, all are very delicious. They also have pretty big meat menu. The restaurant was run by very friendly 3 women.

Enjoyed our dinner here, both vegetarian and meat dishes. Portions were generous, so we left feeling super full! We will come again and enjoy some of the other dishes.

I visited at around 3pm on a Monday and it was nice and quiet. The lady was nice despite the language barrier between us, but there's nothing like good food to communicate a love and care to your customers.

I ordered the nem ran (fried spring rolls) and the pho with fresh vegetables. Both were absolutely delicious - I should've shared!

What's more is they have a full separate section for vegetarians on the menu.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal in this idyllic setting and can fully see why they have such high ratings everywhere.

The food here was amazing and cheap! We came back a second time to try all of the dishes we missed the day before.

Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, clearly marked in English on the menu. I had the cabbage rolls with tofu, which took a little time to prepare (but this was clearly marked on the menu). They were worth the wait! My friend had the beef pho, which was also really well made. The avocado and mango smoothies were delicious. I would also recommend that you try the fried banana dessert, which was not too sweet.

Had lunch here twice and it was really good! The food is fresh, so when it’s busy you have to wait a bit longer but it’s worth the wait! Tip: go for the fresh spring rolls, they are amazing!!

Best restaurant in Vietnam so far !
This is not just a restaurant but also a place where you can find and taste local products from the mountain's villages around Mai Chau (Honey, green tea, fruits, local wines...). We stayed 3 days in Mai Chau and we ate everyday there. Trang and her mother are amazing and so happy to cook for you and to show you what is the true Vietnamese cuisine ! After visiting Hanoi and Ha long bay, this place is definitely the best so far :)

This is probably the best food corner in Mai chau! We've been there 5 times in a row and we ate everytime good, good food! They prepare every dish fresh and they offer you a lot vegan-vegetarian options. The family who runs this is so friendly, you will feel welcome there!

Family-run restaurant with DELICIOUS authentic dishes in a quite setting just outside the main road. The mother and daughter make a super tasty broth used as a base for their soups! Definitely a must go in Mai chau!!

Incredible food for phenomenal prices. The women who work here are such kind souls. If you are in Mai Châu, skip your overpriced villa meals or take a break from your homestay and come here. You won’t regret it!

Great food with amazing hospitality service. We had perfect Vietnamese dishes via recommendation. We got 7 person and each portion can serve for all. We even call for takeout even when we moved to another hotel 20 km far. I will definitely come back for more when I visit Mai Chau next time.
