Ha Tien Happy Hotel

Stayed here for one night to break up the trip between Phu Quoc and HCMC. Absolutely fantastic and such a great price. The hotel had such lovely staff who spoke good English, an elevator, very clean ensuite bathrooms and great wifi. Easy location from the port to the bus. They even organised our bus to HCMC for us and didn’t take any commission so we had a free pick up from the hotel and only paid for our bus ticket once at the station. Highly recommend!!

We stayed there twice - on our way to Cambodia and on the way back. Both times we had a room with two beds and balcony. The room has just the right size. It comes with AC, TV, two chairs, a small table and some coat hooks. Aaand it's very clean!
The staff is friendly and knows some English. Bicycles and motorbikes can safely park in the entrance area.
To whom it's important: There is an elevator.

We stayed here for one night. We were bicycling from Cambodia and they let us park our bikes inside. The staff was polite and helpful, they helped us book bus tickets to Can Tho. The rooms were spotless, large and air conditioned . The bathroom was clean with hot and cold water. If you're travelling by road and need a rest day or two, I'd strongly suggest you book a room here. Very comfortable!

I loved this hotel. Not your typical dirty and lifeless Vietnamese hotel. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. They were able to exchange VND into USD for me. The room was immaculate, the air con worked well and the sheets were clean! Imagine that!

Super service here, clean, tidy, good price. Came back for a second night after a few days on Phu Quoc. Arrived late to find the hotel booked out. English speaking lady at reception ran me over to their other hotel (Ngoc Ha Hotel) not far, booked me in and helped carry my luggage to my room. What great service, took away the stress of finding another hotel late at night. Highly recommended.

Such a great stay we had here. We stayed here twice with a few days in between. The staff doesn't speak English at all although there was one at times who did. But they manage in the cutest way. Look it up online and give you sweetest little hand written notes with smilies on them.
Spotless and large rooms. Great service and so helpful. Let us leave our luggage while we went away. Value for money is over the roof. Would recommend in any way. Liked the location as well. And no chirping birds as seems to be a problem elsewhere in town.

Would definitely stay again.

Not about the hotel but the town:
Watch our for a con man/scammer. He drives around on a motorbike and speaks good English. Will claim he is e.g. the owner of the hotel you checked in at and he knows which one! Offers to help and so forth. Tricks people. We didn't get tricked but heard around town that this guys does this all the time.

A clean gem with friendly staff in an otherwise beyond mediocre little town. If you’re passing through for border crossing, go to Kampot. Ha Tien has very little to offer.

Nice new hotel. With twin beds rooms available. Sadly in our room were no windows only 1 into hall.

Been there one night, spent it before depart to Phu Quock. Everything was perfect, rooms was very clean, polite stuff
