Hakuna Matata Mai Chau

The most amazing place we’ve been to in Vietnam.
Never had such a perfect hostess! Vin, the owner, was perfect - funny, caring and she makes the best shakshuka ever!
The food was amazing and she took care of me as a vegan.
Amazing experience, definitely will come back soon!

Vin runs the place. An amazing woman and always with a smile on her face. Makes the most delicious shakshuka for breakfast. The other dishes are also very tasty. Helps with everything needed. A lovely place in a village surrounded by rice fields

We heard some good things about this place before we came but we did not expect to have such a wonderful time.
Vin the owner of the place is just an amazing woman, laughing and talking a lot with us, she really took care of us and you could see she cares a lot about each and everyone of her guests.
She sent us locations and recommendations for everything we asked her and more.
As an israeli i can say she makes a great shakshuka for breakfast which is also included.
Just like Vin her son and daughter are sweet and very friendly.

So to sum up, if you are planning on going in mai chau you must stay at her place!

Vinh is the absolute best! I met her in 2017, and I have been back many times to see her again. She is such a kind and loving person, she's my family now ❤ if you're looking for a place to stay and experience the local life, this is the place for you. She will go above and beyond for you to have a great stay and organize activities for you. She has built this Homestay all by herself over the years I've known her, and I am so proud of what she has accomplished! I love you Vinh oi 😘 take great care of her if you decide to visit! I had a great time here and was even invited to a harvest festival they were having the day I arrived. Hakuna matata, which literally means "there are no worries" is the perfect name for this place as it describes the attitude of the people here. Super friendly hosts who will help you with anything you need. Strongest recommendations

The host Vinh was fantastisk and showed personally the name of the homestay - hakuna Matata - alwayes smiling and ready to help in any Way - and not forget I was invited to take part in the familydinner. I got god adwises: what to see, where to rent bikes and many other things. I felt like home from the first second.

When I arrived Vinh, the hostess, was sick. So Ha, who works for her, welcomed me instead. I have never received such amazing service in my life. Every little problem I had she moved mountains to help me find a solution. And she always had not just one but several solutions. She made sure with the best and purest intentions that I would enjoy my stay in Mai Chau as much as possible, That I’ll feel hakuna matata. Thanks to Ha, my stay in Mai Chau was the thing I enjoyed the most in my trip. I can't thank her enough. The night before I left I also met Vinh, who is such a lovely and warm woman, Makes everyone around her instantly feel like family. It truly feels like a second home. Also the rest of the family who works there were so nice and always had a genuine smile. The rooms and food were also wonderful.
Needless to say, of course I extended my stay there.

Best place in Mai Chau!! Super cozy, clean and just feels like home. The owner (Vinh) is super helpful in everything you might need which is a big bonus in any guest house.
Another great bonus is the family dinner they have every evening which is super delicious and heart warming.
I highly recommend and will definitely go back again!

מקום מדהים !! וין בעלת המקום תהפוך עולמות בשבילך , אפשר לסגור דרכה גם נסיעות וטיולים ומכינים אוכל טעים !, אווירה בערב עם כולם וואו

Vinh ומשפחתה מנהלים את המקום בצורה נעימה ויש שם אווירה משפחתית וחמה.
רוב האוכל שהם מכינים שם מגיע מהחווה שלהם ומרגישים את האהבה שלהם דרך האוכל.
בנוסף לזה Vinh בעלת המקום היא אישה מדהימה שאוהבת אנשים וכל הזמן דאגה לנו ועטפה אותנו בצחוק המתגלגל ובאנרגיות הטובות שלה😁
בנוסף לזה היא מארגנת טיולים באיזור מאי צאו והסביבה והיא מכירה את האיזור בצורה מטורפת - טיול איתה זאת חוויה בפני עצמה.
החדרים גדולים ונעימים וממש נהנינו מכל רגע שם.

המקום היה ממוקם מהמם , בסוף הרחוב היו שדות אורז והוא היה יחסית במרכז
האווירה הייתה נעימה ווין הבעלים של המקום דאגה לנו עד הפרטים הקטנים.
היא שלחה לנו המלצות למקומות , ודאגה לנו למוניות
וכמובן בישלה לנו אוכל טעים !
( אנחנו גם אוכלות אוכל כשר והיא ממש דאגה לבשל לנו צמחוני ולהפריד את הכלים)
אווירה מדהימה , הוסטל נקי ונעים ושקשוקה מעולה!

ארוחת ערב שהוכנה והוגשה על ידי וין. ארוחה ממש טעימה. האוכל הוגש חם ובנדיבות. וין מארחת מקסימה ואדיבה. מומלץ מאוד.

Nous avons passé un super moment en compagnie de nos hôtes qui nous ont fait nous sentir chez nous et apprécier la jolie ville de mai chau. Elles n'ont pas hésité à nous guider dans notre périple du début à la fin. Nous avons mangé un merveilleux repas que je vous conseille vivement ! Si la nourriture est votre inquiétude, allez y les yeux fermés ! Nous avons été immergés dans l'histoire des ethnies du nord du Vietnam grâce à notre hôte qui se fait un plaisir de vous l'expliquer. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de profiter de son offre de guide pour la réserve de pu luong mais c'est avec regret! Un super moment que je vous conseille de passer
