Frequented by young Vietnamese students and there’s little wonder why! Every mouthful was a delight. The bowl was a party of ingredients, brimming with pork belly, pate, fish cakes (perhaps) and even a runny egg. Rice is the perfect amount of sticky. It set us back by only 65k VND.

As with most street food stalls in Vietnam, do be prepared for a more rustic experience. You’ll be huddled around low stools as there are no tables. So come dressed comfortably!

For me, this tasted like your typical chinese pork dish and done right. Quite a gem for a tourist like me who had been eating local food for weeks and craved for chinese food. Pork was tender and smelt good. We did come back again at this place on our last day before leaving Hanoi.

The sticky rice here is amazing. You first order at the small stand then cross the road into a little shop to sit in short stools.

I ordered the combination and got Vietnamese pork mince, pork sausage two ways, braised pork belly, and a fried egg. That's all served over fluffy sticky rice with the braised sauce drizzled on top. They also give you a bowl of cucumber to go with your dish and honestly its such a nice change from all the pho, banh mi, cha gio and bun cha we've been having. Highly recommended.

Amazing sticky rice, fast service, pork isn’t dry. Server speaks English. There seems to be indoor seating as well but we sat on the sidewalk. Must order the soy milk. Highly recommended

Sticky rice with variety of toppings including tender braised pork belly, fried egg soaked in meat stew broth, pork roll and sausage.... drooling. ~50k bowl and it should make your tummy full and happy for a while.
This place is popular among locals but not so much for tourists.

This place specialty is the braised pork belly and fried egg sticky rice. The also have a variety of different toppings such as pate, braised vietnamese pork sausage, chinese sausage... The vietnamese pork sausage was also really good. The braised pork belly or extremely tender and flavourful. They also give you picked cucumber to cut down the fattiness of the dish. This place opens from early morning to 10:00 am so you have to wake up early. Price is from 20.000 VND to 50.000 VND depending on your choice of toppings. Overall, highly recommended if you are visiting Hanoi and are sick of Pho for breakfast, this place is a must try.

So lucky to have stumbled upon this place. We went there for breakfast multiple times on our trip. The servings are affordable, delicious, and filling. The soy milk is perfect for washing them down!

Sáng xôi Thu, chiều xôi Nguyệt. Đông rét mướt cứ ra Thợ Nhuộm làm bát xôi, thế là ấm áp bừng tỉnh cả người liền. Thích nhất trứng chiên lòng đào, thit mềm, xôi dẻo 🥹, bữa sáng hơi nhiều đạm nhưng ngon.

Xôi ngon, thịt mềm thấm vị. Một phần cũng nhiều nha. Béo nên ăn cũng mau ngán. Ngoài Bắc thì thích ăn xôi kiểu này chứ mình vẫn thích xôi mặn miền Nam hơn 😅
