Excellent visit to the mausoleum. Lots to see and well shaded walk ways. The buildings and content are extremely well preserved and you are able to enjoy the site with English translation.

Very interesting place to visit. A must see. The general area is very rich in history.

Entry is free. Entry closes at 11.30am

The entry procedure is well organised, and you have to leave your larger bags in a storage area (safe and reliable system), while your cameras specifically aren't allowed in the Mausoleum. You have to give them to a separate storage area, and they'll give it back to you once you exit.

Remember to dress appropriately and show your respect.

At the heart of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the marble stone chamber where President Ho Chi Minh's body is enshrined.
Very nice place. We took pictures here. I had the opportunity to see the parliament of Vietnam.
Nice place to take photographs & very nice view during evening.

A well maintained sacred place. A bit of queue for the entrance but worth it. No pictures allowed inside the mausoleum. No entrance fee for the mausoleum. The president’s palace, stilt house is inside the compound itself. You are not allowed inside the presidential palace.

Wow, this place really is a must-visit. It’s a bit weird in that you can’t use your phone or even have your hands in your pockets. But it’s crazy to see Ho Chi Minh’s body up close. I’d recommend spending another hour exploring the rest of the grounds, including the museum. The luggage staff told me it closed at 11am so I had to rush back, even though I saw them still open at 11:30. So they made my experience worse for no reason.

Nice way to start your morning in Hanoi. Come here early as it closes sharp @ 11:30 am. Have to leave your baggage at the entrance., it’s safe and free. They will give you a token. Long pants and decent attire a must. Whole place has a very solemn vibe and rightly so, please respect that by keeping your voice low and phone on silent. Entry is free and it’s a nice walk around a vast complex

Exploring the Ho Chi Minh museum on my final day in Vietnam 🇻🇳 was truly captivating. Immersing myself in the rich history of Vietnam added depth to my travel experience. Highly recommend checking it out for a glimpse into the country's fascinating past.

Wow, this is really a "must visit" if visiting Hanoi. Free entry, you pass through security and then follow the one way route upto and through the Mausoleum. Make sure you dress appropriately or you won't be allowed in; no shorts and wear long sleeves. This building is austere and imposing, it commands your respect and reverence. Entering the chamber you must continue moving around the three sides on silence. His body is amazingly preserved and clearly viewed through the glass sided coffin. Four guards stand motionless in their pristine white uniforms at each corner of the sunken pit where the coffin resides, and another five guards attend the walkway and ensure you keep moving. No headwear allowed in the chamber and obviously no photos/video.

Beautiful place to visit during the day or at night as the space gets lit up well. There was a really quick security check when entering and not too busy. Very impressive to see the guards changing, although I'm not sure at what time they do it.

The Mausoleum is certainly a surreal place, seeing the country's Communist past in its full glory. Having been to the one in Moscow of Lenin, this is certainly a similar experience in terms of eeriness and uniqueness, being only one of the three Mausoleums in the world, the other two being in Moscow and Beijing respectively.

Ho Chi Minh is a hero, a man who defended Vietnam from western powers and colonization. He united Vietnam and because of his contributions and legacy to the people he is rightfully memorialized here in Hanoi. The flag ceremony is worth the wait, we watched it at 9 p.m. The guards were very friendly and helpful in guiding us. This memorial is probably one of the most beautiful modern buildings I've seen in Vietnam. The design and attention to detail represents Ho Chi Minhs legacy very good.

RIP great leader.

We were supposed to visit One Pillar Pagoda. Our grab driver alighted us but we didn’t see the pagoda. We saw people forming a queue outside a solemn compound. So we just queued and not knowing what to expect.

It was drizzling and we didn’t bring our brollies. There was a roadside vendor selling and we got a small one for VND150,000.

We needed to go through a bag check inspection like those we took in the airport.

The compound is very huge and very grand. The Mausoleum faces their Parliament House. They have a museum further down and there is where One Pillar Pagoda is situated. But the museum was closed on that day when we went, it stated usually they are closed on Monday and Friday but we went on Thursday.

We visited on a Saturday and managed to see the body of Ho Chi Minh which is preserved here. Very strange experience but worth it. Get there early to avoid queues as it’s only open certain hours and these are limited.

Great place to visit. It is an important and historical landmark in Vietnam. Sleeveless tops are not allowed so make sure you bring a jacket or shawl to cover your shoulders and arms. Too bad we went on a Friday as the museum was closed. Nonetheless, it was still a must place to see.

Ho Chi Minh City - defended Vietnam from foreign powers, colonization, as well as united the country. His resting place stands here, opposite the parliament. Beautiful, serene and memorable, simply put.

One of the greatest leader of the world now rests here. It was a sheer experience and honor to visit Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum. Read so much about him. The nearby museum and Ho Chi Minh's stilt house are also must watch.
