Best tour operator in Hanoi hands down - don’t even think about booking your tour with anyone else! We walked into Tony Tourists offices off the street and booked a 2-day 1-night trip to Sapa, we got an unbeatable price. The entire experience completely went above and beyond what we had expected for such a price. The bus journey was so comfortable and we all slept well before the trek. The staff on both the bus transfer and on the Sapa trek were so helpful and considerate at all times - special shout-out to Ocean for the transport and Susu for leading us around the beautiful area of Sapa. The food provided and the quality of the homestay was amazing. Honestly could not recommend this provider more! I would use them again and again for all tours without hesitation.

We booked two tours with Tony Tourist. The tours prices are the lowest comparing with the travel agencies in the area.
The day trip for Mai Châu was VND550K/pp. They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us at another requested destination in the Hanoi Old quarter with no additional charges. I believe they subcontracted with other touring companies but the bottom line was A OK. Trip was well planned and well executed. The ride to Mai Châu was a limousine style van. Seating was comfortable enough for us. They had a 30 minute stop where you can stretch and enjoy the mountainous views, and some local snacks... Lunch at Mai Châu was great and plentiful. I joined lunch with an Asian group so probably got served with more Asian plates than other Westerners. We were given bicycles to follow the guide to different areas of the town and visited rice fields and plenty of time for pictures. The guide can speak conversational English. Overall, the trip was really worth the money. The views were spectacular.
Another day trip was for Hoa Lư/Tam Cốc, also VND550K/pp. Hoa Lư was the first capital of VN but it was plain and flattened. Highlight of the trip is the canoe ride to Tam Cốc. Excellent views and cordial people. This trip was also worth the time and money.
Recommendation for both company and tours are a BIG YES.
The tour company was extremely flexible. You can decide to stay behind and return back to Hanoi a few days later is OK. They will arrange for picking you up at your hotel free of charges.

Tony, the owner, is so attentive and polite. My friends and I took a Halong Bay 1 day tour. There was a small mistake regarding pick-up time but he made it up to us. After all we enjoyed the tour much and were satisfied. I would recommend you to apply for a Halong Bay tour with a good bus.

Every time I use tony tourist it has been a great experience, he has perfect English and is super responsive. He even managed to get me a visa on arrival on extremely short notice for the same price as a normal one.

LITERALLY cannot recommend these guys enough!! Amazing amazing tour, could not fault them.

We did the Sapa 2 day 1 night tour and it was incredible, and the best value tour by far (we priced multiple options for the same tour). For about 40 euro pp we had transfers and (a really clean & comfortable) sleeper bus to and from Sapa, an incredible trek of the Sapa mountains (2 days) 2 x breakfast 2 x lunch and 1 x dinner as well as a night in the most beautiful homestay overlooking the valley.

The tour hosts were so kind and friendly, and everything ran really smoothly. Huge shout out to SuSu, Ocean and all of the crew who helped us around the hills & made our trip so fun!

Good prices, and the staff were lovely. Went on the tour of halong bay, sapa, mount fansipan, found out that they were the cheapest for the same type of tour. Would recommend!
