This is a very popular restaurant and advance booking is needed. They also cater for tour groups.

Very authentic Vietnamese food. Although the restaurant was full, the service was satisfactory and the food was excellent. All the dishes came out great and not a single disappoitment. Stronly recommended.

A restaurant placed near to open fire. Food was just awesome, but egg coffe s better in Hanoi. We were eating food to share and it was in 6 dishes, more than enough for a 4 members of family. Its almost in centre of Sapa, pwople are nice, food is fresh made and fast served. Nice.

Came with a Vietnamese friend. The price is a bit high but well worth it (approximately $18~22 USD per person), course meals are served 1. Vietnamese, 2 Vietnamese seafood, low in fat.

Experience the heavenly taste. Staff attitude is very good. I would love to come back to Hanoi to eat here.

We have had one of the most amazing food and experiences here at Home Hanoi. My family went here for my dad's birthday on our Hanoi trip because I was impressed by my experience with Home in my last trip to Hoi An. I informed Nhan ahead of time to leave a small note on the table for a birthday greeting. He did above and beyond that. He arranged a cake and some of the staff to sing and greet my dad a happy birthday and it is one the sweetest most thoughtful treatment we have ever received. Not to mention they have amazing food and ambiance. We got the vietnamese menu andthe quality of food is excellent. I will definitely recommend to all my friends who will travel to Hanoi in the future! Thank you for your amazing hospitality!

It’s a tour group diner but still, despite the ‘tour group’ crowd, one can still dine calmly and enjoy the meal because the servers are so calm and friendly. You will not be disturbed by any tour group crowds so highly recommended. We were recommended by our hotel to dine at this place .. located next to the Bay May lake, you can take a nice stroll along this lake after the meal. They offer buffet and a la cart selection but was told the buffet is more value for money. (Which is true by the way). So we went for the normal buffet selection. The grill pork is delicious .. a must try. Servers are super friendly .. we were served by cherlyene and she speaks good Chinese too. Impressive. The entrance leads to a big courtyard and the dining area are mostly at the 2nd floor onwards. Highly recommended!

Absolutely the best place to dining... it can be a very romantic place, historical and party place too. Beautifully painted in yellow while this colonial building still kept all the elements of previous story to share with their clients.... most importantly good service from their waitress and chef gave all of it to us as their customers. Every food have story to tell. It's Vietnamese hospitality and gourmet I can say.... must be here for a great food in style... inexpensive too if u have to ask....

We came here very last minute but they were open and friendly to serve us the last meal. Miss yve was so helpful with explaining the food. Such a joy. We definitely recommend it. Thnks and until the next time

Home Moc previously known as a good place for tourists to try local food at high standard and quality but since Covid-19 outbreak the restaurant has changed and focused on bringing more experience to local customers.

The set we tried is lobster set for only approx. $25/pax. Really nice and worth to try

Fantastic Vietnamese food at a really good price too. Located in a beautiful colonial villa, the food was excellent. Really high quality. Service was great and the restaurant also had decent wine.

We went for our last dinner while in Hanoi, and it was amazing! The food is really good! If you go make sure to try the spring rolls, the fried rice and pork ribs!

The staff is super helpful and friendly! Sam helped me with a surprise for my friend's birthday, the prepare a small dessert (not in the menu) with candles and music 🎶

We had marinated duck, grilled prawns, wok fried grass noodle and Hanoi’s pillow cake with eggplants. They were delicious!! We loved each piece of food! chef made cake without mushroom for me. Stuff was so friendly and Cherry took care of us very well! We enjoyed our dinner a lot:) highly recommended.

Cost usd 100 per pax which I feel is too expensive. Because dinner comprises of soup, chicken, salad, veg, pork popiah.
Was told by tour guide that this is a more high end Resturant and the poor will not be able to afford.

A clean and tidy place to eat viet cruise. Comfort environment and quality food standard here. Price is in the high side and seems most of the customers here are westerner.

I prefer eat seafood here as it is more safe than eating in road side.

Home Hanoi, what a beautiful restaurant with fantastic food, decor and ambience. The house is beautifully decorated and the design of the furniture and plates really suites the overall vibe of the restaurant. Chill with a level of rustic elegance.

Overall, this place deserves a whopping 10/10 as it has dishes I will definitely come back for again and I highly recommend you to try this restaurant if you are ever in Hanoi. Well executed Vietnamese food at a very high level and quality.
But the main thing that made each dish pop were the various fish sauce based sauces that were served with each dish. By adding different herbs or varying the concentration of vinegar and fish sauce, they were able to achieve a perfect balance for each individual dish.

Appetisers:
Nem lui nuóng sà cây - grilled minced pork on lemongrass skewers that were amazingly tender and juicy.

Nem rán truyên thông M - Fried spring rolls, deep fried perfection with juicy and tasty minced pork and mushroom filling.

Muc sôt mâm tòi - Marinated squid in “Mam” garlic sauce,
Tender grilled squid with an umami packed garlicky sauce, simply delicious and well balanced.

Chà cá Lâng nuóng than hoa cuôn bánh tráng -
Grilled catch of the day served with rice paper, noodles and herbs kept warm over a hot plate of burning charcoal Such an interactive dish as you are able to assemble your own roll so you can enjoy it anyway you like. Fish was nice and tender and well marinated, when wrapped in the crispy rice paper and herbs, it’s a mouthful of heaven.

Gòi cô hù dùa càng cua vâ tôm cháy - Grilled fire prawns served with a crispy rice cracker and young coconut bud and aroma salad. Nice and light salad with deliciously grilled prawns which were cooked to sweet perfection

Mains:
Luòn vit nuóng sôt thào môe - Marinated grilled duck breast with herbal sauce
Juicy flame grilled duck breast with crispy slightly charred skin and a tangy flavourful sauce to cut through the richness of duck meat.

Com rang ông tre - colourful fried rice with egg served in a bamboo holder for added fragrance and presentation.
Wonderfully smoky and delicious

Tôm ú giây bac muôi nóng - Marinated prawns with herb on hot salt
Marinated prawns wrapped in aluminium and “baked” over a charcoal fire until the shells were nice and crispy while the meat, hot and juicy. Dip it in a bit of chilli sauce for some added oomph.

Wok fried summer blossoms with garlic has a texture which is almost similar to sea grapes or broccoli. Very delicious and sweet with a very obvious breath of the wok flavour. This vegetable is only available during the summer period, thus the name summer blossom.

Dessert:
Chuôi chiên côm non M - Deep fried banana with young puffed sticky rice and coconut ice cream. It tastes like the most perfect goreng pisang with added crunch factor from the puffed sticky rice while the ice cream acts as a nice sauce to pair with the fried banana.

Bánh côm truyên thông xoài dôt - Traditional green sticky rice cake with caramelised mango. Tastes like an Ang Ku kueh with caramel and mango, not the greatest of combinations as he mango doesn’t work well with the cake in my opinion.

Bánh Kem Lanh vi xoài và lá dúa - Mango and pandan Panama cotta, tastes like mango pudding with a pandan cream. Not great as well as the pudding is not smooth due to the mango fibres and the Pandan cream doesn’t work with the pudding too.

This restaurant served us a great set menu. It was delicious and the cooking style was one that felt familiar to me. The service was wonderful and the live piano music a welcomed surprise.

Introduced to us by our tour guide and will definitely return in the future when provided the opportunity.

We have made special and lovely dinner with this restaurant. Good tasting authentic Vietnamese. Big portions well presented. Fantastic service and very friendly staffs (Ms. Tú Anh and her team). Welcome drinks were very nice. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
