Legendary pho - the best in the city without a doubt. Michelin guide restaurant and for good reason - well priced, quick service, lots of locals. Be prepared for a little wait though if you don't come early (opens at 6pm).

Enjoyed a fantastic bowl of Pho is as a local restaurant as it be can get. Food was fast, hot and oh so tasty. Was here a year ago and had to come back for more.
Owner speaks enough English that us foreigners can get by. No real service, you have to carry your own bowl to the table.

An outstanding Michelin awarded hole in the wall very local joint. Only 3vtypes of Pho are served daily. Simply outstanding in taste, lots of cilantro, ginger, and chopped beef. Have not tasted such fine taste in the broth. Simply perfect $2.50 dinner bowl !

Hands down the BEST phở in all of Hanoi. I tried Phở Tiến for breakfast & that place was pale in comparison to this rich bowl of love that always brings back fond memories from the first sip.

If you want authentic street food, Vietnamese pho… this is the place!

Since this place is so busy we made a point to arrive right when it opened. Somehow there were already people seated, but there were still plenty of seats for us. It might also be helpful to know that people tend to cut in line, so be aware of this - we observed it as we were leaving!

We ordered the regular beef pho and it was truly exceptional. The broth was so delicious and the beef almost melted in your mouth. They have chili and vinegar that you can add. We were so impressed by this place.

Keep your eye on the prize - a beautiful pho of hot, pure, clear, and flavorful house made broth with tender fresh beef cooked with the broth, a hefty portion of fresh and clean noodles, topped with scallions and an egg if you pay an extra 5,000 VND. Fresh chopped chilis on the table.
Like most small and popular shops, it is “get in, eat, and get out” to make room for others. Order and pay simultaneously (have your money ready) at the prep station. They will give you your pho there as well. There is no table service, no drinks. If you’re there for breakfast (6am) a few customers will be milling around by 545.

We ordered the Tai Nam (combination of rare and cooked beef) and the fried dough. The bowl looks small but is very filling. Broth is light and flavourful. The beef was delicious and tender. Would highly recommend!!

The best pho I’ve ever eaten. This place has a Michelin recommendation and it deserves it! 60,000 dong for a bowl of broth with sliced brisket, plus 10,000 dong for some fried bread for dipping. There is enough bread in an order for two to share.
Nothing fancy here: you order and pay at the counter and carry your bowl to your seat. The broth has the most intense beef flavor you could imagine, a little fish sauce enhances the Unami and the salt brings out more of the flavor. The fried bread is a perfect complement to the broth and the ample amounts of beef. Simple, pure and amazingly delicious.

A lot of food and very delicious but I think the air conditioner is very weak even now is winter I am still sweaty

Such an iconic place and full of history. The staff from my hostel recommended this to me and he told me personal stories of this restaurant. I got there at exactly 6pm and it was already starting to get busy. The beef is so tender and the broth is amazing. Make sure to get the bread sticks and dip it all in. You can add chilli if you like spice. It’s a place that you just go in and out and not a place to hang around.

If you are new in Hanoi, have not much time to spend in this city on your trip iand want to taste some traditional food and western food you can put the place popular place on your list. I don't go very often to this place but I enjoy the food every time I go.

Best pho we have eaten so far in our life. It's not exaggeration that we have eaten 100+ pho places both in Vietnam and in the US this place is the best. It's Northern style so there's no separate dish of veggie. You do have to bring your own pho to the table so its self service. It can be very crowded. If you don't mind the above highly recommend to stop by.

The other reviews about this place are accurate. My wife and I arrived before opening and managed to get a table. Two bowls of tai nam for 60,000 each and a plate of deep-fried donuts. I highly recommend it.

This is a great place to bring a group to celebrate a special occasion but that’s the only time I’d make a point of visiting. Nonetheless, the sumptuous garden environment and vast array of beautifully presented buffet options (many of which were quite tasty) made for the perfect New Year celebration setting. Definitely recommended. Be sure to visit on an empty stomach!
