Hanoi Roastery

This is a cosy cafe overlooking West Lake. We had Yoghurt coffee, one no sugar and the other with sugar for 45,000 each. We got to sit at L2 balcony and did some reading and watch the tranquil Lake before us. A family owns this and we chatted in English with one of them. Great service!! Keep up good work!!

Excellent flat white...smooth and well balanced with only 1 choice of milk (moo) for a late afternoon coffee. Ask for an extra shot if it's a breakfast kick start.

Great place to relax and have a drink. Good place to people watch or get some work done too. Delicious fruity yogurt and cocktail. Staff are attentive and speak English. Play good acoustic music that is not too disturbing. Finally, the decoration is rustic modern, and clean.

Great coffee, some of the best espresso drinks I've had around, great coconut coffee too, also highly suggest the peanut avocado smoothie, manager is charming and the prices are very reasonable, oh also suggest the fruit yoghurt.

Coffee has unique refined taste and aroma. Other drinks like orange juice is fresh and tasty. Place is cozy for watching the lake and the world goes by.

My favorite cafe in Hanoi. I have been coming here for over 2 years and watching this place grow is amazing. The manager and baristas are super friendly and love to chat. The coffee is very good with a choice of Arabica or Ethiopia beans. The cafe it self is cozy and pretty.

Love this place! Went there for a mate's birthday a few days ago - boasted apparently cheap cocktails, and while prices are indeed lower than in many other cafés, they range between 60-80K in general. I believe the entire table tremendously enjoyed the hosue cocktails such as Hanoi Hanoi, Sunny Day and the one with Chamomille. Staff is really kind, accomodating and they don't object to impromptu jam sessions in front of the shop (until the cops come and shut it down, but well... at 11PM it's kinda to be expected). This place also brews a great cup of coffee with different options, from Vietnamese to Italian to pour overs etc. View on the lake and ample parking space too!
All in all, highly recommended :)

Nice spot with a view, very friendly staff.. I'm not very picky about coffee so my latte and Americano where fine for me.

Great service. Good drink and menu. Lovely view unless pollution is bad. Once they let us bring our own drink.
