Homestay Trường Huy

Definitely the best homestay experience I've had in Vietnam. The location is brilliant, and the hosts couldn't be nicer. They took us for a little bicycle tour of the villages, and dinner at night is incredible. Huge selection of meats and veggies, all cooked perfectly. Definitely stay here if you can.

We stopped here for a beer on our way back from a 3 hour hike. We loved the place and the family, so we decided to have lunch. The beer was really cold, it's not a common thing during our trip. 😄 So we had an amazing lunch with beautiful view and very cold beer. We decided to go back for dinner with another couple we met in our homestay. The dinner was great, so soo delicious and huge. So we booked for the next day as well. The owner of the place is such a kind and thoughtful person, we were impressed. On the second night the dinner was even more delicious, they offered us rice wine, we liked it and ordered more. During our second dinner there was another big Vietnamese company, they were having fun and singing karaoke. Then they had a typical Vietnamese program - dancing and singing. They invited us as well, it was a really touching and amazing experience. We are glad that we stopped for a beer 😄. You can even ask them if you want to try something special from the region. We paid 70k for lunch and 100k for dinner per person, the beer was 20k. Great value! The owner can arrange a cheap transfer to Hanoi if you ask, we paid much more than what he offered to our new friends. We highly recommend this place and family ♥

We had such a great stay!! Truong was so nice, made sure we had everything we need, and made us food to fit our tastes.
The place is clean, nice rooms and so quiet! The price was really cheap .
You can rent bicycles and cycle around the pretty rice fields and to the nearby villages.
Very recommended!!

We didn't sleep there so I can't recommend but what I can recommend is how helpful and nice the owner was. He was polite and served us the most delicious food. Brought extra leftovers if he got some. He got a huge karaoke machine and a great place to chill infront of a great view.

The rooms are new and clean, the bed is very comfortable, the food is excellent and the hosts are just great, thank you for a wonderful stay, a perfect place!

Troung the owner of this place is absolutely amazing! This place have such an amazing visitors welcoming, help you feel part of the family! Dinners were amazing, they're really good chefs! Really clean place. But the dormitory were not like a hotel more nature vibes, so be aware not for everyone. The price for value is crazy in here. If I could i would absolutely stay here for more nights to feel the local community and people, and perfect location. Even though the English was a bariier sometimes, they were so willingly to help and make you feel right at home and the owner had really good communications skills and English .

Just spent a night here and it was a really nice experience. The couple who runs the homestay are very nice and can help you sort things out. I rented a motorbike and had dinner and everything was quite reasonably priced :)

Hosts were really kind and super helpful, the place is nice and tidy, the food was amazing, we could rent a motorbike to explore the surroundings, I recommend 😊

Our stay was great. We got a nice BBQ, sat together with the family, he showed us around in the village. Drove me to the bus station. The location is great. Quiet, nice place to relax.

Very nice homestay run by lovely family. Mr. Truong is great host, interesting to talk with and always here if you need any help.
The room is basic but have everything you need with some nice details.
Breakfast was delicious, baguette with egg, vegetables and peanut butter that gave special touch, coffee and fruits. And it was served on beautiful terrace with view on the rice field.
It is possible to order dinner, with vegetarian and vegan options included.
Highly recommend :)

An amazing and incredible place!! I arrived here without doing a reservation an advance and the stuff welcome me with big smile and good energy! An addition they have an amazing food also vegetarian and the view is amazing!

The couple here is so welcoming really felt like home.
Their english is not the best but with google translate it is better.
I slept in the dorms room and for me it was to noisy and les privet but if you can lower you standards you will enjoy in dorms.
The view here amazing i can sit here all day.

A place like home
Truong Huy Homestay is honestly my favorite Homestay I have been during my 4 month traveling around Asia. Everything is just perfect.

The location is more than beautiful. Having your meals with an incredible view, go out for a morning walk around the ricefields and in afternoon I could always grab the free (!) bicycle to explore the surroundings or to go to town.

The food in this place was beyond! The best I have ever had in a Homestay or Hostel. They made me very healthy and vegan meals with lots of fresh vegetables and fruits from their garden or market every day. Also for an incredible good price.

I stayed in the shared dorm, but since I was the only guest in the dorm, I had an amazing big room for myself, where I could even do my yoga as well! The room was open, so yes, bugs could come in, but it actually hardly happend and if so, than there were enough fans and a very big musquitonet all around the bed, so it was never an issue. I loved it that you could always have a look outside through the open windows, from your safe bed, but still felt connected with nature always around.

They cleaned the place every day and after two or three nights, they even made my bed and gave me a new towel and sheets.

It was very nice that there were always other guests, the kids or their friends or family around, so you were never alone. And if you wanted to have your privacy, everyone let you.

When I checked out, the owner gave me a ride to the bus on his scooter and they gave me a huge bag of banana’s and a very charming bracelet as a gift, the most kind thing ever!

Excellent prices, vibe, staff, room (I really loved my small room made of curtains inside de dorm!). Although it's true what people say about the street noise in the morning, but nothing that some ear plugs don't cover...i guess.

we stumbled upon this homestay because of its amazing view and inviting patio and asked the owner (Truong) if they served lunch. he cooked us a delicious and affordable meal and showed us around the well-appointed rooms - thanks Truong for the hospitality :)

Greatest homestay ever! Mr truong and his family are the nicest and will go to great length to make you happy.
Food is great
Private Room is comfortable (and even has aircone!!!)
And the view is amazing

Lovely Homestay hosted by a white Thai family. The place is really clean and the beds quite comfy.
The dinner was massive and delicious and so was the included breakfast !

The owner is one of the nicest people ever. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and to ensure you have everything you need. The rooms are clean, hot shower, and the included breakfast is delicious. The view outside is wonderful. You won’t get tired of it. There are also free bicycles available for you to explore Mai Chau. He even booked our bus to Hanoi for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Excellent customer service is an understatement. Myself and two friends drove up a hiking path (in hind sight, terrible idea) and one friend lost their bike down a ditch. The homestay owner hiked to the bike with us and help retrieve the bike which was so unnecessarily kind because it was so difficult. The food is also some of the nicest I've had in a homestay. Would definitely recommend
