They said you have to climb 1000 steps to reach this temple. It's a great place for praying and meditation. You get to enjoy the cold breeze and beautiful views. Behind the temple, there is a track that you can climb up to the peak of Mount Ba Den. You have to literally climb up using both your legs and hands. So it's not easy.

Used to be here. One of the two most famous mountains in southern Viet Nam. Like it much!

When you avail the cable car, you can see the very beautiful viewing. Here is good place.

You can enjoy climbing up to top of the mountain, takes around 2hrs for one way.
I recommend to start climbing early morning and make it finish around 12:00.
It will be dark and cold at night.
I climbed this mountain 4times but I got heavy rain 1time and it was very dangerous, have a safe climbing!
(By the way many people throw their garbage and I dont like it. Hope you dont do this. On the other hand, I saw young volunteers were picking up garbage, hope Vietnamese common sense will be changed by young generation)

Black Virgin Mountain (Vietnamese: Núi Bà Đen meaning "Black Lady Mountain", Khmer: Phnom Chol Baden) is a mountain in the Tây Ninh Province of Vietnam. To the Vietnamese the mountain is the center of a myth about Bà Đen, a local deity of Khmer origin. During the Vietnam War the area around the mountain was very active as the Ho Chi Minh Trail ended a few kilometers west across the Cambodian border. As such there were many battles and American and Vietnamese soldiers based in the region remember the prominent landmark.[1] After the war the mountain turned from a battleground to being famous for its beautiful temples and theme park.

Great place to visit or do hiking/climbing

Beautiful temple! Lots of street vendors. You can pay to take a cable car up to the temple.

It healthy if you slowly walk up to the hill, good view and have a well-shaded street with trees

or walk up via staircase.
