Probably the best place to have grilled chicken in Mang Den. Plus its glutinous rice - Com Lam - is nice too: sticky and chewy at a just-enough scale. Recommend to have for your lunch because the place is closed at night. Food arrival takes around 5 - 10 minutes, which is considered quite fast for my personal standard against the constant crowds at the restaurant.

The place could get really crowded and hot during peak hours or seasons, as there are non-stop flows of big groups storming into the restaurants.

A must when in Mang Den, excellent grilled chicken and bamboo rice - a wider menu, but I believe in ordering the namesake dish of the restaurant. Visited twice a couple years apart - still just as popular as before. Friendly staff with enough English to help out a tourist such as myself. Massive downpour whilst I was there and after a couple of hours I braved the rain, and they were kind enough to give me a free raincoat to get back to my homestay in - the people of the mountains and Mang Den are some of the friendliest and kindest in a country of kind and friendly people!

Chicken is good with the lemon grass inside. The prices is quite ok. It's good place for visiting Mang Den.

Great local restaurant. Both grill pork and chicken was tasty, very delicous combining with sticky rice (bamboo rice). Friendly staffs, reasonable price. Will try again.
