THAP BA MUD BATH

Had an amazing and refreshing experience at this place. Reached here at 8am and was probably the first to arrive. Opted for hot mud spa. 30minutes in mud, 20 min jacuzzi and spent unlimited time in hot mineral water and finally ended it with a swim in the hot swimming pool. The water temperature felt perfect with the cool weather in the morning. Highly recommended for those looking to rejuvenate themselves in Nha Trang.

please ignore all the recent negative reviews from people who are bothered by the bad road or older equipment. As a high-level traveler, I can really recommend the spa. A very quiet place, perfect for relaxation. The restaurant is reasonably priced. I recommend the place and I wish everyone a very pleasant experience, as I had. An amazing place for a very rejuvenating hot mud spa. We had a hot mud spa, hot mineral water spa and then unlimited time in the swimming pool. There are lots of tubs for mud spa and mineral water spa, so no need to wait for a queue. There are lots of pools. One is hot water and one with normal water. There is even one for the kids. The place is very spacious and beautiful place with lots of greenery and ponds.

After reading the mixed reviews, I was not too excited to visit this place but it was such a great experience for me and my wife. We went in the afternoon and it was a short drive from our hotel. We booked a grab which is so cheap in Vietnam. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city and amidst trees and nature. We were shown the packages and we were shown the way to the changing locker after we made the payment. We were given a locke, a set of clothes, a small drinking water and a medium sized towel and after changing, we were shown the way to the mid bath area. There are many bath tubs, different sizes depending on the number of persons together, at different levels. Don't expect privacy and be ready for some noisy groups. We say in a large size tub and warm muddy water started pumping into the tub. 20 mins was the time permitted but we stayed much longer as the place was not that crowded. After a quick shower and passing through high pressure water jets, we were then shown into another tub, this time with hot mineral water. Do ask for the herbal one as we missed asking for this. We enjoyed the warm water on a chilly day. Finally you move into a big open swimming pool with heated water which is nice in such weather. There are few waterfalls too. You can stay here for as long as you want. We enjoyed this unique experience. The place is overall clean though it looks old and the changing rooms can be better. The staff were nice. Overall a must visit if you can find 3 hours to spend there. Charges are quite reasonable.

We had a great time at the Thap Ba Mud Bath. Wasn't sure which one to go to, and after reading some reviews of the place, we weren't so sure we wanted to go. Well, Im glad we did.
Its absolutely necessary to come first thing in the morning. We took a grab from the hotel and it was about 100,000 vnd from Nha Trang city center. The place is empty and you basically have a private resort.
We registered online and took the package that includes the mud bath, jacuzzi and mineral bath. Afterwards, you're free to enjoy the pools.

We arrived around 8am. After we paid, they took us to the locker area and we were given bottles of water, towels and a lock. You can use their bathing suits, but we opted to stay in the ones we brought.

Once changed, you are taken to the mud bath. Its a tub for two people. The mud itself isn't thick, more like muddy water. You sit in it for about 20 minutes and then you shower off the mud, walk through some spray tunnel and then head into the jacuzzi. After that, you go into the mineral bath. Its quite nice, warm water and the soothing smell of whatever minerals they put in. About 20 minutes of that and your done. We then headed to the pool area.

The big pool is quite warm, I think its said 37-39C degrees. Its nice, but maybe too hot considering its also quite hot outside. They have colder pools if you desire.

We read a lot about annoying groups of people arriving around 12pm and basically taking over the place. Thankfully, our time there, it was quite empty and when we decided to leave around 11am, it just started to get a bit busier.

Do yourselves a favor if you go and go early. Its well worth it. Very peaceful.

There will be a private bathtub for soaking in mud bath, followed by a quick rinse off and a warm jacuzzi tub, private soak in mineral water, then you can laze about on the sunbeds or in the cool and warm public pools.
Best to bring additional tower, as they only provide one which may not be sufficient.

Really fun day out doing something completely different! Great value for money and suitable even in the rain. Staff were really helpful as we went through the different areas.

Didn't know what to expect as I read very mixed reviews before visiting. Glad to say I was very pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed my visit. Facilities were nice and clean, staff was helpful with advising me where to go etc. They provided towels, locker to store your belongings, and even a swimsuit if you didn't bring your own or didn't want it to get dirty. Female and male separate bathrooms and changing rooms available.
I purchased the mud bath and herbal mineral water bath package. I went solo, and had a private tub for the mud bath and mineral bath. The herbal bath smelled so nice, highly recommend it! There are also several small swimming pools in the area too, but I found the water was a little too hot to swim in, especially with the hot weather and sun blazing. So it would have been nice to have a colder swimming pool to cool down. But all in all, had a lovely relaxing experience :)

We enjoyed our visit, would recommend. We arrived at 4:30pm so only had about an hour before they closed. We would recommend spending two hours if you have time, but was nice and quiet late in the afternoon.
Personally we preferred the hot swimming pools and the hot mineral bath, but the mud bath was a fun experience.

Super fun and relaxing. I'd say you need about 3-4 hours here. They have a whole process and guide you to the different "experiences" so you don't have to run around trying to find everything. Definitely give the waterfall a try and sit under it for an amazing shoulder massage 😍

What a beautiful relaxing place. Book yourself into the private spa session and you'll get your own mud bath and hot herbal bath (which is a bit like having a bath in a cup of tea. It smells amazing!)

Highly recommend. We booked online on their website, so the price is cheaper (15% cheaper. You can pay at the counter when arrive. Advice you do the same). The experience is wonderful. We took the mud bath and herb mineral bath. But together with it, we get towel, drink water and bath clothes (if need), warm swimming pool, Jacuzzi pool, nature park, watterfall, free wifi, friendly nice staffs. We had relaxing great 3+hrs here. Thap Ba Mud Bath has long history and is the first mud bath spa in Nha Trang. After long time coming back, It just gets better. Cannot recommend enough this place.

Absolutely stunning outside area to walk around after. The changing facilities are a little old but the actual mud and mineral water soaks are good. I got the herbal mineral bath and it smelt so nice!

Anyways the views here are amazing especially if you go near sunset/golden hour.

Great place to unwind 👍🏼 We took the 70-minute private spa and absolutely loved it. On an cold day the mud bath might feels bit chilly but the herbal spa afterwards is very rewarding.

Opted for the private spa package, well worth it and would definitely do it again.

Nice place to visit on the rainy day, as there isn’t many more options of things to do during the rainy days. It was nice to come down and relax for couple hours. Very relaxing and enjoyable experience, you get to spend 20mins in mud bath 3mins in jet pool and 30mins in mineral baths. After you can also use the heated pool and relax on the loungers.
The best way to get there is catch a grab from the center.

Great place to relax & for kids! We upgraded to a private spa experience for not much more so worth it. Water, tea & fruit included, fresh water showers between the mud baths and mineral bath. Then access to the Spa gardens, pool, jacuzzi and hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy not therapeutic but worth a stinging laugh! Change rooms and showers available after spa experience and menu available. Best to book in advance! We spent 3.5 hours here.
