An honest review of my experience with this Chinese medicine center. I'm a 46 year old British male.

I noticed the clinic while walking in the touristy area of Nha Trang. It turned out to be very serendipitous!

My first consultation: Dr Mai was very impressive. Having lived in Canada her English is great. She took the time to listen carefully and asked intelligent questions about my symptoms (acute: anxiety, gastrointestinal distress; chronic: trauma, and exhaustion). It was great to meet a medic who shared my view that the 2 problems were intertwined. She diagnosed stagnant liver chi and suggested a course of acupuncture and Chinese medicine

Acupuncture: I had about 15 sessions over 2 weeks. The facilities were peaceful, very clean and comfortable. Each session Dr Mai listened as I described my current state. Also more aspects of the emotional side of the issue arise for me. I also started to mention other physical issues I had been having. Dr Mai always took the time to ask and listen, and then tweaked the acupuncture accordingly. The needles were inserted very professionally. The music was nice, I was checked on regularly, and felt very well cared for.

Medicine: easy to consume powder that you mix with water. Much easier than Chinese medicine I'd been prescribed in the past which required boiling a lot of dried stuff. Also not hard to take despite the bitterness as it only needs a short gulp.

Massage: At Dr Mai's suggestion I had some massages with their on-site masseur Mr Trung. Dr Mai gave him specific information to ensure the massage really fitted with the other treatment and was tailored to my needs. Mr Trung has really nice energy, and is a skilled masseur. He speaks good English and is communicative and again a good listener. I think the massages complemented my treatment very well.

Price: the prices were shockingly reasonable! Really great! There are even discounts for buying acupuncture in sets of 5 or 10.

Other staff: reception and assistants are very friendly and professional.

Results: I felt a lot better by the end of the treatment. I left it a couple more weeks before reviewing here to give a better assessment. I can say that I feel rejuvenated and better than I have in many years. My energy is returning, and my mental/emotional health is really improved. Much trauma has been cleared. A lot has changed for the better in my stomach. Some deep healing has happened. I could not be happier with the results.

Overall: a really wonderful experience. I feel so lucky to have met such a great Dr and I hope many others find her clinic. She has built something really amazing. The combination of professionalism, compassion and knowledge throughout were just great.

I found Maya medical center by accident, when I was driving to hotel. I have been there for three days only and I was surprised how professionally and excellent Dr. Mai and Mrs Vân work. If I would have found this place earlier I would go there every day. I have never before experience better therapeutic massage then with Mrs Van. She is brilliant!!! I came there with strong back pains, I could hardly walk. After first treatment I could go back to hotel by my self. If Vietnam would not be so far, only for the treatment in Maya medical center I would revisit Nha Trang.
Please open medical center in Vienna Dr Mai, and bring Mrs Van here.

Mr Trung provided an excellent lymphatic massage today (6/2/2024). I had tongue and neck surgery last year due to a cancer and lymphatic therapy is recommended. Mr Trung has healing hands and a very professional, knowledgeable, warm and genuine demeanour. The other staff in the Centre were all helpful, friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, I don’t speak Vietnamese but luckily the staff are very proficient in English.

I had been struggling with lower back problems from a sports injury in the past. Found the place on google and decided to try out their acupuncture and deep tissue massage services. Dr. Mai and the therapists were incredibly professional, the treatment plan they provided has noticeably reduced my symptoms. I feel like i'm turning back to my pre-injury self. I highly highly recommend Maya Medical Centre for their expertise and compassionate care.

No need to look further for your pain treatments!
My shoulder pain caused numbness and tingling sensations shooting down my left arm for over a month. Dr. Mai and Ms Van were very professional in treating my problems, they assessed my spinal cord and treated the root cause of my pain and discomforts with acupuncture and therapeutic massage sessions. After just a few visits, my pain numbness are gone already.
Dr. Mai has been running her practice since her time in Canada, and her bilingualism is very helpful for foreign patients like myself.
Ms Van’s therapeutic massage sessions are by far the best in Vietnam I’ve ever experienced!! (I’ve been getting massages at least 1-2 times per week for the past 6 years in VN, that’s at least a few hundred times!)
With the professional facilities and practitioners, the sessions are also very reasonably priced at local price.

At Maya Medical Center I found a mix of Western structure, Eastern wisdom and caring approach. I came in with a heck of a heart pain. And Dr. Mai's smile gave me sense of comfort and being at the right place. She listened carefully, asked a few questions, felt my pulse and knew right away how to line up my treatment. So far, I'm six visits down and I'm already feeling more energized, much more uplifted and pain almost gone. I'm walking miles through heat and feel good. I'm beyond thankful, for being professionally and humanly cared for makes me feel home away from home. Dr. Mai speaking English helps so much. And her consultations are so decently priced.

Updating my review, as of Sept 22, 2023. This one is specifically about the massage therapist Van, at Maya Clinic. Van is outstanding. She is technical and highly intuitive masseuse. Rare thing to find, both characteristics in one specialist. She senses my body and knows well what exact technique to apply in one visit or another. Her cupping massage is remarkable! I'm thankful for the quality and the price of her massage treatments.

I tried cosmetic acupuncture because I was curious and a bit insecure about some of the fine lines appearing around my eyes. After every treatment my face looked so "full" and plump for a few days, but it took a while to really show more lasting results. The change slowly became more visible after 6-7 treatments. I'm very happy; fine lines are smaller and my complexion feels soft, firm and healthy. Thank you doctor Mai for your dedication and expertise!

I came to Maya Clinic because I have had lower back issues for a long time. Recently my left shoulder had been tight and swollen, also I had trouble with my left Achilles tendon and pain underneath my right foot.
I enjoy running so I really needed some help to relieve the pain and help the tendons to repair.
Dr Mai is so lovely and very understanding with alot of knowledge. She first assessed my condition and prescribed acupuncture and deep tissue massage. She advised that it was all related to my lower back issues.I had been going weekly to the clinic with great results. I informed Dr Mai that I would be running in a marathon soon, straight away she said ‘ok lets get prepared’. She started adding a specific type of acupuncture to increase my energy, she also continued with the repair of my injuries with acupuncture also.
I purchased Dr Mai’s own herbal medicine and herbal spray. The herbal spray helps me alot, I use it before and after running.
Overall I have seen great improvement with my injuries and my experience at the clinic with Dr Mai and her staff has been very pleasant.
I am continuing my treatment as it benefits my love of running.
I am happy that Dr Mai and her team are here in Nha Trang.

I had the privilege of visiting Maya Medical Centre during my recent stay in Nha Trang, Vietnam, and All I can say is Wow!!!! 🤩

For a long time, I’ve been dealing with severe chronic pain. So while I stayed in the city, I visited the acupuncturist, massage therapists, and even the yoga classes offered at the centre. I was particularly looking for a massage therapist that could give me a really good deep tissue massage. All I can say is that and I have never in my life had massages like the ones I had at this clinic. I saw multiple therapists who were able to target the areas that were causing my pain. If you are looking for the best message in the city, especially deep tissue, this is without a doubt the place to go. I also was given acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine for my pain and combined with the massage, I truly feel like a different person. The facility is well managed, the staff is friendly. They also speak very good English so explaining what I needed was not a problem. I felt taken care of and plan to go back again and again. Without a doubt 5 star treatment and 5 star service ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I've menstrual disorders, irregular periods for many years, have gone to the doctor and taken western medicine, so it's no longer effective. Recently, I went to the clinic for examination and treatment, was examined and treated with acupuncture by Dr.Mai for 1 month, my period has returned to normal, and my body is much more comfortable. It's great to have a doctor who can speak English in Nha Trang, she's very professional and dedicated. I'm very grateful for that.

I am very grateful for dr mai who helped me with various symptoms. She is very knowledgable and kind and after every acupuncture session I immediately noticed drastic improvements. Whether skin or digestive issues - she helped me with everything over a period of two weeks! A plus point is that she can speak english, as do the people at the reception.
So if you suffer from any ailments I would highly recommend maya medical centre. The prices are super affordable and cheap too.
The massages there are also of higher quality (more experience and technical than a typical spa), especially the deep tissue massage with cupping.

I have tried many places and treatments in Nha Trang the past 6months to treat a couple of hernias and muscle inflammation. The results were not permanent... I come here regulary for acupunctur treatment. Mai is Vietnamese but got her degree in Canada and had her practice there for many years before she decided to return to Vietnam. So its great to have a doctor that speaks english and has extensive knowledge and experience. She helps me with many issues... even emotional issues or mental. Today I told her I was overthinking alot and had a hard time to relax and sleep...and she knew exactly which spot to put the needle in...to help my brain relax...and it was the most painful spot of all the needles which meant that I really needed it:)) So needless to say I had a very relaxing session and calm day:) So I can highly recommend her!

Meine Schwester und ich hatten jeweils ein Paket mit 5×Akupunktur und 2xMassage gebucht. Da es meine erste Akupunktur war, kann ich kein wirkliches Urteil abgeben. Aber ich kann sagen es wird sauber gearbeitet und es hat mir geholfen. Zur Massage kann ich sagen, dass es eine tiefe Faszientherapie ist. Und die beste Massage, die ich je hatte. Bei 2 unterschiedlichen Therapeutinen.
Es wird englisch gesprochen und ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Ich bin froh, dass ich es ausprobiert habe.
