SHAKTI - Nhà Hàng Chay & Cafe Nha Trang (Vegetarian Bistro & Cafe)

Definately the best vegetarien restaurant in Nha Trang. Not easy to find in a smaller street but worth the way for sure. Had the thai style horpot and it was superb, will come again.

This morning I and my mom had breakfast combo costing only 69K per one. With each combo, you can choose 1 dish and 1 drink in the suggestion menu. The fixed dish every day are Pho, Rice Noodles, Broken Rice, Omelette, besides they also had special dish for each day during the week. You also choose drinks including coffee, salted coffee, orange juice, about 4-5 options. Today I chose Dried rice noodles, I found it like kind of Pad Thai, and my mom ate Noodle with Soup, all were so good. It’s the perfect option with good price for everyone to enjoy healthy vegan breakfast in Nha Trang. I am a fan of Shakti and will come back more times!

Excellent vegetarian restaurant. I had fried mushroom and that was super good. The space is very nice and this restaurant is newly opened in 2023. Everything is reasonably priced for the environment and the value is great here. I will come back to try more dishes.

What I experienced on the day I set foot in here was the best dining experience I've ever had. I was actually heading to a vegan place a couple stores down the road but a gravitational pull had me turn around and look inside Shakti. And am I ever so glad I did!

The moment I saw the sign for the soft opening, I knew I had to take a peek. But a peek was not enough, no, the staff quickly came to greet me with smiling faces and a friendly welcoming!

I was guided upstairs in my own private overlook from the modern and comforting balcony that I could view the entire restaurant.
I was joined by Khoa, a fantastic gentleman with an aspiring vision to bring healthy food and fantastic dishes abroad.

He educated me on his life story and the inspiration for this restaurant. I was guided through the menu and recommended multiple dishes along with a very refreshing Dragonfruit drink!

Dishes:

(Phở Bát Đá) The Breakfast Pho was out of this world, it came sizzling in stone bowl loaded with vegetables and tofu. With each bite, I could make out all of the ingredients and how they worked together to deliver such a great soup. Accompanying this dish was plenty of herbs and lime to add another level of taste. The broth was perfection, I ensured I drank every last bit! 11/10

Runner up is the chả giò rong biển Shakti (Seaweed Spring Rolls). The multiple levels of texture and flavor made my taste buds dance on this one. The crispyness of the fried coating, the second crunch of the seaweed, and the soft inside full of vegetables and herbs. Delicate yet full of flavor and the seaweed really did it for me. Can't imagine a spring roll without it now!

bánh tráng trộn (Rice Paper Mix) was a very refreshing dish and my first time experiencing this salad based dish. So many complementing layers of acidity and saltiness with a tad of sweetness from all of the rice paper, fruit, vegetables, and fresh greens. Very enjoyable to eat and felt so good after!

trà thanh long đỏ (Red Dragonfruit Tea) made me feel like I was in a tropical paradise. Not too sweet and the perfect pairing with the salad and spring rolls I had. It was full of dragonfruit pieces and so enjoyable to finish.

Verdict: The menu is so extensive and it is just the beginning. I can only imagine the future offerings to come! I believe no matter what you choose you will enjoy your meal. The price is reasonable for the quality and service you receive. I felt honored to eat here, I came as a customer and left as a friend! The world needs more places and passionate people like Shakti. And I love sharing a similar vision through food and beliefs as I felt here.

Great vegetarian place! The variety of dishes should satisfy any vegetarian preferences. Shakti seaweed spring rolls were a bit to fried to my taste but mushroom ceviche was very delicious and fresh. Sweet and sour soup was massive but not heavy to the stomach. Overall, I'm happy to see the places like that exist.

If you are vegetarian you cannot miss this place. 5 out of 5 stars. The food was very delicious and there are various choices. The ambiente is beautiful and the staff was extremly friendly, especially Lucy the manager. Thanks a lot and we will come back.

It’s not often one gets absolutely blown away by a meal. This evening I can say without exception that I’ve just eaten the best ever vegetarian Thai Green Curry. Thank you Shakti. I will be back for another taste explosion soon. One suggestion I’d like to make, please serve the Curry with steamed rice instead of the bread. It’s a better combination.

A lovely place to have a nice vegan meal with your friends and family. The whole place filled with very nice smell makes you feel relax and chill out. The dishes is beautifully place and tast good too. Definitely visit again.

Whilst touring Vietnam and spending 3 nights in Nha Trang I sought out a vegetarian restaurant. Shakti was in easy walking distance from all tourist hotels and sea front. The menu and quality of food was exceptional. The staff were so friendly, helpful and so efficient. The food was so good that I would recommend even non-vegetarians to give this restaurant a try. Whether a seaweed salad with a passion fruit dressing or clean chilli based curries this restaurant delivered. Rarely visited by tourists you feel this will be even more of a find! This restaurant has the quality of a high end western restaurant with a menu that shows Vietnam off at its best. You will not be disappointed!!
