QT Guest House

First of all: Tom at QT guesthouse was so lovely and helped us out. 10/10 would recommend based on this alone.

Renting a bike was really easy to do the loop with QT. They were really happy to let us try the bike beforehand and check we were happy with the handling of the Honda XR 150. They offered for us to buy an adapter for holding our phone on the bike too and gave us ponchos and waterproofing for attaching the bag to the bike.
We actually had a flat tyre half way through our last day's ride and the guys said 24/7 help was available and it was. They picked up quickly, reassured us, we got a repair and a refund when we returned to the office.
Pleased that QT all check our international driver's licences in order for us to self drive and do the loop without a tour.

We had 1 night there before starting our tour. The hostel is a good value for money. But what I would really recommend is the tour. They really helped us to prepare our tour, the motorbikes are good (we rented the Motocross), they provide a map to help us to find great spots, petrol stations and also provide recommendations.

Thao was very friendly and helpful to get us out motorbike for the Ha Giang loop. We did 4 days and 3 nights. AMAZING!
They do guided tours too.

We did the Ha Giang loop through buffalo hostels and stayed here the first night. We had a great group of 15 and amazing easy riders. A big thank you to Phan who led our group and made it such a great and unforgettable experience!!

After I stupidly forgot my phone, Cho was able to ship it to me in Hanoi, within 12 hours and for a very reasonable price. Shoutout to the massive legend that is Cho!

We did the Ha Giang Loop by ourselves, without a tour, only renting the bikes, and if you are an experienced rider, or at least you can behave, I would not take the insurance. The route is pretty easy for anyone that rides.

The QT Guesthouse is an excellent accommodation choice if you’re planning to do the Ha Giang Loop. The airconditioned rooms are clean and comfortable, and they offer a choice of dorm and private rooms. The staff speak reasonable English and they are efficient and helpful. They offer a good range of motorbikes, including Honda XR 150 off-road bikes, which are well maintained and in good working order. For people who aren’t experienced riders, they can also provide a driver to take you around the loop as a pillion passenger. The QT Guesthouse is highly recommended if you’re going to Ha Giang and want to do the loop tour.

Had the best time on the ha giant loop. Forgot my speaker and T-shirt when leaving. But contacted them and they send it back to hanoi for me to pick up! So happy with this service

Very friendly and warm staff. The landlords found a room for us although we hadn't booked in advance, and arranged a special one-day tour for us. The tour was great and the driver very friendly and patient. The room and the facities in general are very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend!

Very welcoming hostel to start or end the loop! Mike was really helpful and friendly and helped to arrange the motorcycle rental. They’re also happy for you to hang out there waiting for the bus. Only comment I would make is the mattresses are a bit on the hard side, but I was so tired I didn’t care :) Good location, right in front of the bus stop area where I got dropped off after arriving from Hanoi. Highly recommended!

Good place to spend the night when arriving to Ha Giang. Close to the bus stop. If you arrive late after midnight they offer a free bed in the dorm! Otherwise its only around 50.000 dong for a bed. Great information and maps for Ha Giang loop motorbiking

We rented a motorbike at QT for the Ha Giang loop and we were able to stay there free of charge as we arrived in the middle of the night. Everyone that works here is very kind and professional. Thank you!

What a trip! QT, the owner, is one of the nicest people we've met since coming out to South East asia, we arrived at 4 in the morning from a night bus, he made us feel welcome soon as we arrived. Let us have a few hours sleep for free in the guest house before recommending a route for us to take to do the Ha Giang loop (which is also one of the most incredible places we have ever experienced). He was the perfect balance of informative and helpful without being pushy. For example, he recommended homestays to visit on each night, and each one turned out to be a fantastically memorable experience. Additionally to this, when QT saw I was a smoker, he gave me two packets from his own personal stash as he had said certain brand of cigs are not always available on the loop (they smoke some strong stuff up there!!). Maybe not the healthiest haha, but just goes to show his generosity! The bikes we rented were also some of the most fun we have rented on our trip, and definitely stood up to some of the more challenging parts of the ride!! Honestly we could not recommend this guy and his family enough, thanks again!

Best customer service you can ask for. Great place to stay the night before you take off on the loop. And the night you return. The owner QT will personally make sure you have a great experience! They can also help coordinate shuttles to Hanoi.

Clean and comfort. Best service from staff. We sleep here after the Ha Giang Loop. Since we rented their bike, it was super convenient for us to stay here. Food and drink is also fair price and very close to Bus station which is perfect for us to move on to another city.

We had a great experience both with QT's hostel and the motorbike rental (but that goes in a separate review). The hostel itself was pretty basic. Airconditioned rooms, standard bathroom facilities. But the staff was so nice and made our experience great! They had a dinner party and invited us (free of charge), which was quite the experience. We tasted local food and was taught all the customs when drinking the local corn wine (which QT makes himself). When we returned from our scooter trip, we had laundry done in less than 2 hours, so our clothes was clean and dry before being picked up by the sleeper bus at the door (also booked by the hostel).

The dorm rooms were spacious, comfortable and had great views. Great place to start the Ha Giang loop. Qt motorbike rental is next door. Gary & co are awesome and will help you plan the trip. I rented the Honda XR 150cc, which is kinda perfect for the loop.
I highly recommend it.

The place to be if interested in the 4 day Ha Giang province loop, for both accommodation (defore and after) and bike retail. One of a kind hospitality with a friendly family like atmosphere. Staff well trained and knowledgeable. QT the owner is a legend, and will find time to socialize and get to know you. Will definitely be back for future endeavors. Also, if you ever need help with future accommodation, bus trips and medical emergency services they'll help you no questions ask :) top class service.
