The rice rolls are really nice and delicious. Chili is really spicy and would advice you not to underestimate the spice level.

The staffs are pretty rude and ambiguous.

Basically there is no menu to browse and you just sit down when you find a space at the stall. They will serve you a portion of their delicious rice rolls depending on the amount of pax that is present at that point in time.

Will still recommend going for the food to try!

I went at 10:45pm and was served instantly. Very delicious and standard pricing (30k dong).

The filling was nothing special but the rice noodle was the most tender I have ever eaten, I think I will dream about them! Make sure to drown the rolls in sauce.

Service was fine. Cleanliness average.

Please note that as of this review, they close between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.

Good place to eat local foods. The only downside is there is no menu so you just have to use pic from google as references. But food is nice. Non halal

If you’re thinking about coming here, just do it. A friend of ours who used to like in Hanoi recommended it to us. The banh cuon wrapper was silky and soft and they do not skimp on the filling. The nuoc mum they give you is warm and slightly sweet. The cha lu was also very good and we ordered an extra order of just that we share. We started off with two orders of banh cuon for 4 people and immediately added another 2 orders.

They deserve MICHELIN star 2023, really tasty and yummy, very busy but doesn’t wait that long, they don’t have any menu and I don’t have to order once I sat the girl will served me what I expected, highly recommended.

This dish reminds me of Pontianak’s choipan but is served more festively. We have soup and herbs to concoct together with the rice cake. I love this dish and regretted not going for a second round before departing Hanoi.

The sellers do not speak English, but they are friendly and explain things using gestures, including the direction to mix the ingredients and condiments into the bowl. I highly recommend this place, and I will come back here!

The most incredible Banh Cuon Cha Que for breakfast from Bánh cuốn Bà Xuân. The rice sheets were so thin, the wood ear mushrooms savory without being bitter (a problem I've had with other street stalls) and a tasty chunk of sausage. Top rated, no wonder it has Michelin recognition.

Rice rolls with minced meat and wood ear fungus was top class. The fish sauce paired with fresh herbs and chilli really compliments and elevates the dish beautifully. Every plate is made to order and the fried shallots accompanying it were freshly fried. Definitely recommend to visit. Place can be a little cramped and stuffy, but manageable.

omg. Best Banh Cuon, expect extended waiting times due to the handmade nature of the dish but very worth it! Iced Jasmine tea helps in the hot weather too!

Don’t bother coming after lunch hours.. they would probably be sold out

Worth the stop. Food is flavorful and delicious. No menu available on site, the server just brings out whatever they’re making in the kitchen (maybe because we don’t speak Vietnamese).

We stayed up the street and this was consistently the best bite we had in Hanoi. The little citrus fruits were perfect. They were made fresh and stuffed full. Two chefs visiting from the US so…. Pretty picky. It was fire.

Tasty Vietnamese rice rolls! A very localised place (we were the only foreigners when we visited on a weekend evening). The elderly man who looked like he ran the place did not speak English but was helpful with gesturing to advise us on adding the condiments to the dish! Definitely worth a visit.

The food is delicious! Very kind man was not talking any English but did his best to explain to me how to eat this dish. Would highly recommend eating here!

Love the banh Cuon here! It was near to my place and always crowded so I had to try it! went there the morning, and loved it so much that I bring my friend there again the same night. Fair price, I paid 30k for 1. Also there is a friendly dog there

Authentic Vietnamese bánh cuốn (rice cake steamed rolls). Service can be slow sometimes since it's popular with locals.

Absolutely excellent! I always come back here whenever I'm in Hanoi for the steamed rice rolls.

🍚 The rice rolls are soft and delicate, virtually melt in your mouth as they break away in your fish sauce. The balance of the savoury minced meat and wood ear is incredible offering a great texture.

The sauce is to die for, the fish sauce itself isn't too fishy but just the right level of salty. I personally love adding 2+ kumquats and some chillis for an extra zing.

🥚 You can also get an egg bánh cuôn which is essentially the same with an egg in the middle.

🍵 You can also get ice tea and an assortment of drinks there for cheap.

💛 Great meal typically surrounded by locals. One plate is 35k - we got 2 each so it came to 140k - and the servers are really accommodating and lovely (usually 😅).

Amazing food. Don't expect much in the way of atmosphere and/or hygiene, but the servings and affordability of the food make up for this. Some of the best banh cuon I've had during my stay here in Hanoi. Highly recommended.
