Ha Giang Historic House

The hotel is located in a queit suburb of Ha Giang, spacious, comfortable and clean. Extremely friendly staff, good restaurant (don't forget to try the pizza!) They can help you to organize the Ha Giang loop, adapted to your own whishes: by motorcycle, as an easy-rider or by private car and last but not least: for a reasonable price!

Lovely stay with very friendly and helpful family. Treated us like their own friends and family during our stay. We arrived really late and they still managed to cook up something for us to eat despite the kitchen being closed. 10/10 for the hospitality :)

Amazing stay here the night before and after the loop. The owner was friendly and very hospitable . She helped organise rental bikes for us at a reasonable cost (which were also in perfect condition) and also a bus to our next destination. Get the pancakes for breakfast! You won’t regret it!

This was such a nice stay after a tough and cold 4 day Ha Giang motorcycle tour . It was nice to relax and have a hot shower and comfortable soft bed. I ate pizza and drank her amazing wine. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful hotel in Ha Giang. Family run. They do good pizza and pasta. Arranged private ha giang loop tour for us at a good price. Also helped with any bookings of buses and taxis we needed. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay here, the hotel is a very peaceful place to stay. Huyen, the owner is fantastic and welcomed me as if I were her own family. She organised a private tour of the ha Giang loop for me at a good price and also sorted my onward bus ticket. Rooms are clean and cosy, and it's only a short walk into the centre.

Plus there is pizza, a pool table and 2 very adorable dogs!

The downsides... There are none!

We booked this hotel and did the Ha Giang loop with 2 guides organized by the hotel. The owner was really helpful to get everything planned out for us and thoughtful of every possible need. Very friendly and open-hearted. The motorbike tour was absolutely unique. Stunning landscapes and views on Northern Vietnam. Our guides made sure we got the best experience out of it. They were so considerate, friendly and good-humored. We also really liked that the drivers were being careful and making sure we feel safe at any time. Also they showed us many spots off the beaten path. In contrary to offers from other providers for this tour, we got a very personal experience in the smallest group possible. Aside of the great room in this hotel we were staying in 2 beautiful homestays on our trip and were eating delicious local food all the time. We highly recommend Ha Giang Historic House and especially the motorbike tour they provide. Thank you Huyen, Thu and Sugar. Hope to see you again one day.

My fiancé and I LOVED our stay at the Ha Giang Historic House. The room, location, and price was excellent. Our host, Huyen, was so accommodating and friendly. She cooked us dinner (great food) at 10pm due to our car getting in later than expected, arranged our motorcycle rental for the loop, and helped us arrange our bus to Sapa afterwards as well. 11/10 we would rebook this in a heartbeat. Highly recommended if you are staying in Ha Giang.

First thing that impressed me was that it was not by the main street, you go through therow of trees and you are surrounded by nature.
The bedrooms are modestly decorated but very clean and with great blackout curtains providing us with the best night sleep in two weeks in Vietnam.
Each room has a bench outside allowing some stretching in the morning.
The owner was friendly and staying with them was easy. The daughter spoke perfect English too.
You need to walk a bit to access the Main Street.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ha Giang Historic House. The owners are present on the property and very accommodating. They were helpful in coordinating other places to stay while traveling in the area. They served great meals and were available for assistance when we needed it.

We stayed here one night before and one night after the loop. It directly felt like home because Huyen the owner was so friendly and helped us planning our tour. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. At the last night we had a family dinner together what was super delicious. Furthermore Huyen makes the best pancakes in whole Vietnam. Cảm ơn Huyen we love you!

Amazing hotel in Hà Giang. The warm and wonderful host, Huyền, will make you feel at home instantly. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean, and the grounds make you feel like you’re in the countryside, even though it is in the city. I’m sorry that I could only spend one night this trip, but will surely return in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Huyen. She was proactive from the start, helping us book transportation from Sapa to Ha Giang. Once we were there, she helped us arrange a loop tour via car and we had an awesome time with our local guide and driver! We chose the 4D3N option and would highly recommend this, the second half of the loop has the most incredible views. We also did some trekking, visit local villages and businesses during our loop! We tried her pizza, which was delicious and were even treated with some of her other cooking - amazing tofu dish, sweet potato, stir fried mushroom and salad. If this is on offer, do not pass on it! It has was one of our favourite meals thus far during our months of travel. She suggested and booked us massages on our final night too, which was just the cherry on top. Staying with Huyen was beyond expectations. The hotel is lovely and peaceful. The beds are extremely comfortable! Ha Giang is more than just a motorbike loop. Do not hesitate to visit and explore the region! You don't even need to think with Huyens help!

Stayed here one night before starting the Ha Giang loop and wished we had stayed one more night our return. Huyen is such a wonderful host and accomodating host. Helping with luggage, tasty pizzas, organising motorbike rentals, tours and transport to our destinations across Vietnam. Her cute friendly dogs also made the stay very welcoming :) Highly recommended!

The place is clean and the hotel has a cool design. The staff is very helpful and they help you to book a tour or a motorbike or even a bus to Ha Noi if you need. AC in room works very well too!

The best place to stay in Ha Giang! Besides that the hotel is beautiful and feels like home, Ms. Huyen's service is beyond superb. She arranged everything for us from the bus to and from Hanoi, to a customized private car tour of the Ha Giang loop.

Mr. Cong, the driver, is very kind and puts in the effort to make sure that we are enjoying and we are safe. He found ways to talk to us and tell us histories and facts about the places we visited. We learned a lot from him. He doesn't lack anything in service.

Ms. Huyen and her family are very welcoming and accommodating from start to finish. The food she prepared for us at breakfast (banana pancake with honey, noodle soup with egg) and dinner (her famous pizza) are very delicious.

She and Mr. Cong made our visit to Vietnam very special indeed. They make us want to come back soon. Highly recommended! Thank you very much again for having us!

If you need a reliable expert guide. He is your man. Took us to the best places to eat and organised all our accommodation on the loop for us and really cares about his guests.
