Ha Giang Hostel

Took part in the 3 day 2 night Ha Giang Loop tour through Ha Giang Hostel. Room was super spacious and I had a great sleep (as good as possible after arriving at 2am). Bathrooms were clean with designated shower stalls and toilets.

Our tour group had 7 people which was a great small number unlike other tour companies that have 30+. I felt safe despite the winding roads and fast drivers. Some of the guides speak English which is nice. The home stays were interesting- the owners didn’t speak English so we didn’t really get to interact with them. Overall was a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone considering! I even forgot my coat at the hostel upon departure and they organized it to be delivered back to me in Hanoi - amazing service!

The easy riders really make the trip special. This hostel is excellent and I highly recommend doing the Ha Giang loop with this hostel. I was recommended this hostel by someone I met traveling and from the first moment I communicated with them I had a great feeling. We were in a group of 12 which was a perfect number. It was a very sociable experience and the hosting that we received was second to none!
Delicious food and there was always more than what we could eat.

Did the Ha Giang Loop tour with Minh and a group of about 7 people. It was a great experience and all the food and accommodations along the way were high quality. Minh was a great guide and explained a lot about the local culture. He drove very safely, even in foggy conditions. I would recommend the tour highly! The hostel beds were also very comfortable and clean.

I did the Ha Giang loop with them and it’s been amazing. Luck was my driver, I always felt safe, he is super kind person. I had so much fun with the team, not all of them speak English but they are super helpful and friendly.

Absolutely fabulous hostel - the best company to do the Ha Giang Loop with! My friend and I stayed a night in the hostel before the loop and then did a 3 day tour. The hostel itself was very clean, modern and had all the amenities you needed. It also had some restaurants directly opposite for food which was handy. The staff were so friendly and incredibly helpful from start to finish. They helped us book onward travel and of course organised the tour for us.

The drivers for the Loop were so fun to be around and made sure that we were well looked after throughout the trip. Our tour leader was excellent, very well organised and spoke great English. It all ran smoothly thanks to him. My driver Sa also deserves a special mention! He was a very experienced driver and ensured that I had a great ride.

I also made some great friends from this trip. Thank you so much Ha Giang hostel for helping me to create memories of a life time 🫶🏻

Had the best time of my life doing the 4 day loop through this hostel. My easy rider, Chung, was exceptional and continuously went out of his way to ensure I had the best experience possible. The hostel stay and home stays on the route are comfortable and such a good laugh. Our group leader, Dau, did a great job as well ensuring everyone on the group was safe and had a brilliant time. Can’t recommend enough!

I had the best time doing the Ha Giang Loop with the Ha Giang hostel. The whole trip ran smoothly and the drivers and tour guides were fantastic. The hostel was very nice too and was a perfect place to stay the night before our loop trip started.

Special shout out to my driver Hai for making the experience unforgettable and for safely getting me around the Ha Giang loop! I will definitely remember this trip forever!

Great experience doing the Ha Giang Loop through Ha Giang Hostel. Spent 2 nights at the hostel before embarking on the loop. Owner let us check in early when we got off a sleeper bus at 5am. Private double was clean and comfortable. Tour guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area and stops, giving great insight into the cultures of each small village. Tour was around $200 USD with return bus to Hanoi. Highly recommend.

We did the Ha Giang Loop tour with Ha Giang Hostel. It was the best experience we’ve ever had and the riders we were paired with were so knowledgeable and lovely and kept everyone so safe and happy. Out of all the tours for Ha Giang Loop that we’d seen, this one was definitely the best. I can recommend it to everyone and would love to do it again! My rider Phình was so lovely and pointed out where he lived in the village as we rode by. It was a really special experience!

Wonderful experience with the Ha Giang Hostel crew. I was scared before starting the tour but after 5 minutes I felt completely safe on the back of the motorbike. My driver Chung was really sweet and on the first day he payed a lot of attention to the drivers without easy rider to make sure they were all right. This made me feel extra safe.
Besides the breath taking views, there were activities on the route such as swimming at a waterfall and a boat tour. Dau guided us very well during the whole trip and the food was great.
All drivers got along really well which was nice to see and added something to the overall ambiance. 10/10

Stayed there for a few nights before Ha Giang loop, rented the bikes from them aswell. Very helpful staff, few of them speak good English, so you can always sort out anything you need. Gave us consultation and recommendations for the loop even tho we went on our own without a guide. Rooms are nice enough, clean. Breakfast included even if there is not much to choose from. Good value for the money. Highlight is really the staff that helped us with everything we needed including laundry, tips, rental, bus etc.

Booked the 4 day Ha Giang Loop tour with this hostel and couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Our tour guide Dau and my easy driver Dung were both very professional and accommodating.

I would recommend doing the easy rider option if you are not skilled on a motorbike as the group goes quite fast.

The food, excursions, and accommodations were all incredible.

Excellent experience with Ha Giang hostel tour of Ha Giang loop. The tour guide (Joe) and drivers (dau.de.sinh) were amazing - showing us the all best spots on the loop and sharing information and stories.
I felt safe on the drive and welcome in each of the home stays! Would 110% recommend to anyone visiting Vietnam!

Although we got there at 2am the staff were very helpful to show us to our room , very clean comfortable beds however the air on wouldn’t work so everyone in the room was very hot! Very well organised for the tour in a smaller group ours was 15 total good number not too many not too little. We had Minh as our leader and couldn’t fault him made everyday and night very funny. Along with his drivers (close friends for years) made the trip that much better very polite and so helpful. sài was my driver and we had a blast , he had a lot of experience with riding , would definitely recommend an easy rider as you can look around and take pictures while riding. I had a go on a bike by myself and you can’t take your eyes off the road much😂. We had a private room around the tour which was worth it had a comfortable bed , clean tidy bathroom with good shower and some with aircon .

I did the Ha Giang loop with Ha Giang Hostels and it was amazing! Our tour guide Minh, was funny and supportive and passionate with great English and taught us a lot about culture and made sure to show us all the secret spots the other bigger groups couldn’t get to. My rider was My and she was so sweet, I felt safe with her the whole time! Our other drivers were Van De and Dien and we all said the same thing that we felt safe with them. I liked being with a smaller group as it felt more authentic and safer, the guides were so accommodating with everything from dietaries to showing us the best spots and giving us raincoats. All the home stays we stayed at were nice too. The front desk were also supportive with organising transport, picking me up from Hanoi airport, and breakfast at the hostel was really nice.

We did the Ha Giang loop adventure with Ha Giang Hostel, riding solo. The scooter provided was in excellent condition, ensuring a smooth journey. Professionally organized, with cozy stays. Hosts Ming and Jagoda are super fun, friendly, and both speak English. Highly recommend doing the loop with them!

I booked the 4 day/3 night Ha Giang loop tour with the hostel. its the best decision iv ever made! The trip was amazing from start to finish. There was 17 in our group which was perfect as everyone got to know each other.
Minh was the tour leader and made sure everyone had so much fun whilst still giving us all the information we needed and bringing us to the nicest view points.
My driver Chung was amazing, he knew the roads so well and I felt completely safe with him driving. He was a complete gentleman and we had great fun over the course of the trip. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was really nice to relax at the homestays each evening with the group and all the drivers. The meals provided throughout the trip were all delicious too.
I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone. I would do it all again tomorrow if I could

I did the loop with Ha Giang hostel, it was absolutely incredible. The best thing I’ve ever done, the guides were amazing, they were so much fun and looked after everyone. The tour leader Dau was the exceptional, and Chung my driver was outstanding. Amazing, couldn’t recommend this tour any higher! :)

This experience will be SO hard to beat - it was the coolest and so special! The views are unreal, but what really makes the loop are the drivers. They are experts at their craft and also the sweetest and funnest people. This is the best thing I’ve done in Vietnam and if you’re reading this you need need need to do it - it’s hard to put into words how magical this was.

Also, Van (my driver) is the BEST!!

Did the Ha Giang loop with this hostel over the last few days. Had a great experience with my driver Khao and a group of 11 of us. Amazing views and always felt really safe on the back of the motorbike. Delicious food everyday too. Would definitely recommend to others.
