One of the most traditional bakery in Hanoi. Their green bean fried cake is exceptional (the meat version is great too). Excellent service!

This place is underrated. This is the only shop in Hanoi selling all kinds of traditional cake and the quality is excellent. The cake will be in bite-size so you can be able to try different kinds. The Banh Ran is made with their own excellent technique. Highly recommend!

I live just nearby so I had a chance to try it out since this was still a newly opened establishment. Compare to the past, the size of these traditional cakes gradually became smaller. Still enjoy it very much. Here is a list that I recommend:

The best place for banh ran (fried rice cake). Best around noon since they just made the new one. Also try the colorful ones since they taste good and have this chewy texture

Great little bakery with local donuts and a few other special baked items from Vietnam. Also the staff here are very kind and friendly, THANKS!

We had an excellent interaction here and were happy to try some of the delicious sweet rice jelly cakes, some of which are also medicinal.
