Dong Van Ancient Street

Dong Van's old town is a vibrant representation of traditional culture, featuring multi-colored buildings that have stood for centuries. Influenced by French architecture from the 1880s, the town boasts important highlights, including the well-preserved Dong Van Market from the 1920s. Nestled among rocky mountains, the town is characterized by its 40 ancient rooftops and houses, some of which are nearly 200 years old.

Should visit here on Sunday morning for the local market festival - it is operated every weekend. I arrived Dong Van town on Sunday afternoon so I missed the opportunity 😭😭 Will come back there 2nd time. Anyway the price of souvenirs in Dong Van ancient market is cheap. I bought 4 shawls and some unique cakes for my friends and I feel good with the price 😁😁There has some mini bars with good music in this area, I didn't have enough time to enjoy but it looks nice. We can also go for the local massage - spa named Như Ý with good price and service ~

Ancient town but has been remodel with a lot of food choices, drinks and souvenir shop. Great places for walking around when you staying at Dong Van.

Old Town with small maket, quite and fresh air. You should sleep 1 night before go to Meo Vac.

The old quarters in this area is a small pretty looking neighbourhood which was filled with young people on Saturday night having fun.

Just tradition market and street around, but you can find good coffee and quick bite

Lovely ancient market place with many nice cafés and restaurants. A good place to stay in dong van, there is a local market down the road opposite across the main road where you can find local produce etc. I was here during a holiday apparently as they had some type of Hmong festival with lots of dancing which was great. A nice place to hang out in the evening after a long day riding

Very cute town, loved walking around and seeing the beautiful mountains and old style buildings

Frienly Homestay. Is all new, very confortable bed, with private bathroom, aa,... and amazing rooms. I would like to come again!

Honestly it's a very small town but it's very cozy.

You'll have so much fun on ancient street. It is just a great place to visit. We're there in the evening. They have a bonfire and dancing!

Lovely little traditional restaurant operated by even lovelier people. I had best Ban Cuong here. The soup they serve with it is delicious.

Try breakfast in their way, sitting on a low tool by the long tables. And, don't forget to observe the ultimate efficiency the lady prepares the rolls.

Delicous food. Especially the vegetables is very fresh and sweet. Lake fish my son like it very much
