Hong Hoai's Restaurant

This restaurant was excellent on all accounts. Our server Finn was attentive, sweet and helpful. We are travelling from Australia so he even showed us how to eat the food properly. The pork belly with quail egg was beautifully tender and succulent with a lovely broth. The pork belly pancake was light, fresh and filling. The traditional fried pork was also flavourful. The five spice beef stir fry was soft, chewy and full of flavour. Our drinks were also excellent; I’d personally recommend the coconut coffee. Overall, a must-try restaurant in Hanoi with great service and refined flavours.

The food was awesome, offering a true taste of Vietnam right here in town. Hieu and the team were incredibly kind and friendly, making us feel right at home. Hieu even taught us the proper way to enjoy our meals, adding a special touch to our visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore authentic Vietnamese cuisine and exceptional hospitality.

I had the Vietnamese Pork and it was unreal! Tee, my amazing waiter, showed me step by step how to use the paper to make the perfect rolls. Definitely worth a visit! (You can also sit outside on the second floor balcony)

Noah was extremely helpful. Being a vegetarian person, I ordered a vegetable pho and king oyster sauce mushroom with rice. Both of them were extremely flavourful and tasty. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to try authentic Vietnamese food. The portion sizes are big too.

Lots of good google reviews, so we decided to it out. Good food, good service ( especially Hieu). They can speak some English too. Overall a pleasant experience!

A very calm place that was recommended to us by the hotel we stayed at. The food was excellent. Noah showed good professionalism. Would I come back? Yes, of course.

We ordered 4 menus, veggie fried rice, beef, and shrimp roll. The food tasted very good and we still wanted to tried the other menus. We were served by Tee and he was very friendly and gave us some recommendations to go see around Hanoi.

Absolutely delicious! Fresh and clean. Highly recommend the Bun Cha and Beef in Betel leaf.
As an added bonus, they are aware of gluten - so Coeliac safe.

Cosy restaurant with yummy food. Tables were spaced near and the neigbouring table was a bit loud. But otherwise, service was fantastic and food was delicious. We had the fried grilled pork and the vietnamese pancake which seems a hit from reviews. Indeed it was really tasty and we had it demonstrated to us on how we were to eat it. Definitely a go to place!!

Reached around 6.15pm on a Friday evening. Ordered the bun cha, cha ca, chicken pancake, pork with betel leaves, and the caramelized pork.
The food was pretty good and we were very satisfied. Tee spoke fluent English and is very professional, instructing us on the best way to eat each dish. He is also very approachable and friendly.

This restaurant is 10/10, It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, good Vietnamese food. Noah was extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming, they have got a good number of dishes for vegetarian aswell, highly recommend them 👍

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious without being pretentious.
Our server, Tung, provided spot on recommendations in terms of variety and portion for 9 people, ensuring we were well taken care of.
The standout dish for me was the Vietnamese pancake. A delightful culinary adventure overall!

Excellent end for our first day in Vietnam.

Finn was patient and demonstrated to us how to eat the Vietnamese pancake. The braised pork with quall egg and Vietnamese style chicken curry was unique. Overall very tasty food and excellent service.

We tried the vegetable fried rice, bun cha, pho cuon, lon cuon la lot. All food tasted exceptional, surely must try the bun cha and lon cuon la lot, you assamble the food yourself and will be shown how to do it. We are served by Tee, the staff is very polite and pleasing to talk to

Great good place, and customer service. It was our first time eating traditional Vietnamese food, and they showed us how to eat them properly. Thanh was very friendly and accommodating with my boyfriend and I.

I was served by a very friendly waiter called Tee. He suggested me the vegetarian tofu with eggplant. And I had vegi spring rolls as a starter! Both were delicious 😋😋. I would definitely recommend this place for the vegetarian food!

Came here solo for dinner, and Tee recommended their Vietnamese pancake, which he then demonstrated how to prepare the rice paper rolls with pancake, and veggies within. First time trying this and I loved it!!

Also had their veggie fresh spring roll and egg coffee - equally yummy!
