Lim's House Homestay

We had a wonderful night and our vegetarian dinner was absolutely delicious! One of the best dinner we had in two months Vietnam.

The room was clean, cozy and quiet during the night. We had no AC, just a fan, but it was no problem. There are also rooms with AC available.

We would book again, if we are back in this region. ☺

The place itself is beautiful. Lovely custom wood furniture.
But the VIBES are what make this place great. A nice outdoor chill space, lovely decoration, and a lovely setting on a hillside with the birds singing.
We spent an extra day here, cause when pitted against a hotel room, the victory margin is nuclear.

Lim herself was incredibly helpful, and spent a long time helping us mail a package back to Canada, which we definitely could not have done on our own!!

This place is a true gem. The Homestay is in a beautiful location. All the facilities and rooms are built with quality and have unique design touches too. The host, Lim, is very generous and makes the absolutely most delicious meals - better food than we’ve had in most restaurants in Vietnam.

The best Homestay and food we had so far during our trip. It feels like a home in Lims House. Lim is a lovely person who makes the best food. She gets all the ingredients fresh and knows how to cook so good! Also the room was spot clean and there was a lovely terrace you could sit. Lim can also help you with anything, from booking a cheap scooter to the next bus ride. We spend 3 days, went to the hot spring, waterfalls and cycled around. Surely the best place to stay in Mai Chau. Lim is an absolute queen and cooks up a storm. The rooms and homestay are stunning, amazing furniture and decoration. We loved the authentic feel of the place, it felt so much more honest than everywhere else we’ve stayed in Vietnam. It’s a rural homestay so bring earplugs if you sleep lightly and prepare for the cold in winter, but overall such a great place.

Lim was the most charming, accommodating, and helpful host you could ask for! We got upgraded to a bigger room on arrival for FREE. Her home is very beautiful and so close to the town with good restaurants. You can walk to the small villages or borrow a bicycle for FREE. Your laundry gets washed and folded for FREE. Her home cooking is a feat for both eyes and stomach. If I find myself in Mai Chau again I would love to once again be her guest.

We had the best time at Lim’s beautiful homestay. Lim’s food is truly a highlight and it is some of the best we have had during our entire travel for five months. Many things to do in the area as well. We highly recommend Lim’s homestay if you ever go to Mai Chau.

A cozy place with such a special design, lim is a special woman, generous and kind-hearted with a life story that does not embarrass leading series on Netflix, we recommend sitting down with her for a conversation and hearing, beyond her special design aesthetics, she is also an excellent cook! The breakfasts that are included in the room price are very tasty and indulgent and the dinners are excellent! At a price of 100,000 dong per person but worth much more, every day slightly different dishes, with textures and flavors we have not known before, the place has free varied coffee and tea and distilled water for refills and laundry services at no cost! We were amazed every time by the abundance offered there and with great love from lim always with a smile and good intentions 🙏🏻❤ Thank you very much for everything Noam & Ella 🌻

Is a beautiful quaint homestay about 1km from the centre of Mai Chau. The owner speaks English and made sure all our needs were attended to. She even went out of her way to take us to a few places. Highly recommended.

Peaceful and lovely place in Mai Chau. The owner of the place is an adorable woman who speaks English and advises us well about the surroundings. She also helped us to book the bus ticket for our next destination. The dinner, the breakfast, and the coffee were delicious. There are vegetarian options as well.

This small homestay is very charming and comfortable! Ms Lim, the owner, and her mum are very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

All the great reviews about Lim's place are true. This is a wonderful place to stay and Lim is about as nice a host as anyone could ask for, friendly, helpful and a fabulous cook. Don't pass up the opportunity to have dinners here. The dining area and common spaces are very comfortable. As for dinner, not only does she make delicious meals with a variety of items, but if you are a vegetarian she will make a special dinner that doesn't feel like it is missing anything. -- Thanks for everything, Lim. Amazing homestay!
One of the best place i’ve stayed in Vietnam!

Lim is a great host.
The room are really nice.
Breakfast is good. You can pay extra to have dinner and it’s delicious!
I was planning to stay 2 nights, but I extend to 4 nights!
It’s a quiet place to rest and enjoy the area!

There is no swimming pool, I don’t know why someone put that picture, but don’t expect a pool or karaoke!

Lim was such a nice host, her place is so great, the atmosphere is amazing, quiet away from the loud music of Lac Village but close enough to be a few minutes bike ride.
Her food was so tasty, so many great flavours I'd highly recommend

Cute little village, cute cats, wonderful kind host, very quiet and peaceful all day and night. Check in was easy and check out easier.

This place is unbelievable. The house and setting are drop dead beautiful. The rooms are private. The food and hospitality are perfection. Can’t recommend it enough. I would suggest contacting them in advance for booking though. Don’t miss it.

Such an amazing place to stay. Lim and her mom really take care of their guests. Our room was great. The bathroom was gorgeous with an amazing shower. The food was literally the best food we’ve had in Vietnam.

Absolutely loved the rooms! Nicest place we've stayed in since arriving in Vietnam, especially the bathroom, so clean and designed very well, very relaxing, and free laundry (that her mum washes twice!! Once by hand and then in the washing machine!) and a very reasonable price for the accommodation and service, Lim cooked us amazing dinners for a good price, and their cat and dog were so friendly and sweet, the free bicycles are a massive plus for the area, and she has a map that shows you were to go to see the surrounding area! Lim and her mum are very friendly, very smart, Lim has great english, and told us lots about Vietnam 🇻🇳 after the first night in Mai Chau staying in a hotel with concrete slabs for beds and hair found in the teapot, it was a massive step up and we ended up staying longer than we'd planned :)
