Mai Chau Sunrise Village

I didn't stay here but had a couple of lunches, breakfast and dinner here.

For the breakfast, there were 5 options including a fresh fruit platter, egg omelette and pancakes. The black coffee was good, and the sweet bananas were a go-to thing to munch on.

For lunch and dinner, there were about 3 appetizers and main courses each and 2 fruits ( dragon fruit and pineapple ) for desserts, including rice, veggies, chicken gravy, egg rolls, spring rolls, pork items, I.a. Ofcource like other villages, the vegetarian opinions are limited, but whatever was available was delicious.

Overall, I enjoyed my food experience here over a couple of days. Everything was so tasty. The staff on two occasions accepted my request for late dinner and lunch, and I appreciate their cooperation. For food, I will definitely recommend those coming in Mai Chau to try out this place.

Very restful, great food, marvellous views and fantastic location in a quiet area. Top marks to the hotel manager and many of the staff who are excellent communicators in English. The guides and staff are all local community members keen to share their tribal culture and you will learn a lot staying at this marvellous place and doing tours with their guides - who all work on the land as rice farmers when they’re not guiding you. It’s a great way to be immersed in a deep cultural experience and learn about life in the Tai community. Warmly recommended!

Favourite accommodation during our holiday in Vietnam. Because surroundings and accommodation was great.

My upmost highlight of my trip to Vietnam. Mai Chau is a top priority, and stay in a stilted house. The weather was incredible, we had sun and then thunder and lightning another day, really nice people there. We did a bike tour and saw the local people and I bought a lot of Vietnamese rugs and shorts and a hat. The rugs took 20days to make and the work and quality is incredible. We saw where they live and how they live and also the people who live up the mountains and their living conditions and really does put life into perspective. Incredible, admirable, inspirational people. Definetely see as much of the mountains as possible, hard climb for me but worth it. We also tried rice wine.
Beautiful place.

Dorm was very comfortable and very cheap. A number of Staff speak ok English, and Ka speaks excellent English. Toilets and showers clean with hot water and shampoo. Meals 100,000 vnd. Breakfast free. They rent bikes and motor scooters. They'll arrange a taxi for you

We stayed in a bungalow and it was a very good decision. It's large, very well maintained and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. They serve good food in the restaurant

Staff were great, accomodating and courteous.
Lot of activities can be done.
I got a huge /spaceous room.
Breakfast was decent.

Amazing rooms ..views impeccable. Stay for a few days.. recommendations is to do during the week. Vietnamese travel by the bus load on weekends
