Eco Homestay

The homestay was very traditional and in a beautiful location. Cost $5 a night per person in the shared dorms, there are curtains you can close around the bed so it's more private. This price also includes a lovely breakfast and free use of the bicycles. The staff were helpful and friendly, they put on a dance show whilst we were there which was a nice experience of vietnamese culture. Would stay again.

Everyone here seems to agree, and I join you all. Its a great great place, with all that's been said, the family warmth and excellent and affordable dinners - 100 Dong per person and its more than enough food. It was our oasis of peace while traveling through Vietnam after a week of Hanoi and Cat Ba, and while we were doubting whether to take a plane south and chill on a beach (that's how tired we were!) I'm glad we chose to stick to the plan and relax in Mai Chau. This place works for back packers and families altogether, we've seen everyone enjoying it. Thank you so much to our hosts for the lovely treat, clean place and food, especially for treating us with dragon fruit over breakfast after you've seen us buying it on our own because we were craving it. I don't know if it was intended or not, but what a nice gesture :-) much love from Belgium.

Wonderful homestay just 2 km from the centre of Mai Chau. They have bikes you can borrow for free and bicycle is perfect for getting around the villages. The family is so sweet and kind, we sat together around the fire and ate snacks and talked. Beautiful surroundings and all the people in the village are so nice! Clean bathroom with free toiletries. The only downside is that it's a bit noisy at night with a lot of roosters but it's still better than traffic noise. I love this place and will definitely stay here again if I come back to Vietnam!

Lovely homestay near Mai Chau centre. We stayed in private rooms which had a great view. We stayed two nights and ate both nights in the homestay. The food was delicious and so fresh. We booked a tour with them which was a full day trek. It was a tough 24km hike but the views were fantastic and our guide was lovely. The picnic on the tour was a particular highlight

Insane place to stay, so chilled out, incredible location, and the nicest family being so helpful with what to do, how to rent motorbikes. The dinner was so nice - the nicest I’ve had in Vietnam. Just so easy going and chilled out and relaxed couldn’t recommend this enough!

Perfect place 2 stay. Nice and clean rooms with bathroom, AC and a beautiful view (first floor). Best of all is the dinner... made and served by the hosts. You can rent motorbikes and use bikes for free. WiFi in all rooms. Tours will arranged by the host family.

Mai chau village is amazing! Eco homestay is an ideal place to relax. Our room was very convenient and clean. Breakfast was really good! The host was really helpful and nice.

Great place and friendly and helpful owners. It's a bit cold in the winter thought, the small houses for 2 people are the same temperature as outside
