Very good local Vietnam food.
Soup a bit sweet but when you add chili and pickled garlic it will the best combination, also recommend spring roll.

cheap, consistent, simple.

small menu, easy to read.

healthy mix of locals and tourists.

the spring rolls are thick, with a thin crispy pastry. they knew my order by the third note, you could easily become a local here

I have never tried bún chả before, so i cannot compare it to other places, but this particular place was recommended to me by a Vietnamese friend of mine and let me tell you - it was one of the best dishes I’ve came across anywhere during my 20+ days around Vietnam. The menu is simple - just bun cha and spring rolls, which are also great by the way. The grilled meat in the soup is full of flavor. Cannot recommend it more. A hidden local gem in an area full of tourist traps.

Excellent authentic road side bun cha experience! And the serving is huge! Just sit down and say how many bowls of bun cha (70k ea) and fried spring rolls (15k ea) you want. Staff aren't really that friendly but you aren't here for the service, just the good food!

Some might find the soup a bit sweet, but I think it's just right. Lots of veggies and rice noodles too. And the spring rolls are piping hot, so you might want to let them cool down a bit before biting into them.

Take away (bun Cha + spring roll) is available too for 90k.

My first time tasting Bun Cha and WOW this was really good. They only serve two things: Bun Cha and Spring Rolls. Spring Rolls were only so-so (according to my peers - I didn't taste it), but the BUN CHA. Divine.

We were recommended this by a local who works in F&B (born and grew up in Hanoi), and it did not disappoint. We were quite skeptical though because the restaurant was really dirty when we arrived. Tissues on the ground everywhere, tables clearly not cleaned from previous customers meal. There was even a strand of hair in the vegetables that were served (which they eventually replaced because they noticed our group pull the hair out).

But the taste of the Bun Cha made up for all of that! Best meal we had during our 5-day stay.

A really tasty bowl of bun cha!

I was recommend this place by my guide from a food tour. I ordered the lemon tea (15k) which was refreshing and the bun cha (65k) which was very tasty.

I love the grill taste of the meat, the broth was flavourful and the noodles were really nice!

They do close at 9 pm and were packing up at 8:40 so if you are looking for a late evening meal I don’t recommend here.

It is only a 10 minute walk Old Quarter (Beer Street area) and on the way back you can stop at Little Bowl for dessert!!

We've eaten here over three visits to Vietnam over the past six years and it is still just as good as ever. Super delicious!

If you're looking for a delicious bowl of bun cha, this shop is definitely worth a visit! The portions here are generous, meaning the price is higher at 65k per bowl. But trust us, the minced cha is so juicy and tender, and the cha mieng is nice and chewy, making for a delicious combo. Keep in mind that if you come by during peak hours (around noon to 1 pm), there might be a bit of a wait. But it's definitely worth it! And don't forget to add some minced garlic, fresh chillies, and vinegar to bring out the flavours. Enjoy!

Simple place
.. Only 2 options food!!!
But the high quality of flavors. Super yummy. Just 65 k vnd for a bun cha.. Yes you can get cheaper somewhere else but the quality deserve the price. Definitely will be back there.. Vegetables are super fresh

First meal upon landing in Vietnam and my family has been HOOKED since! We loved bun cha so much that we kept searching for better but nope, this one was it for us. Excellent balance of flavors, freshly made, and authentic as can be. Highly recommended!

Delicious, quick, and priced well. Big portions and friendly owners. They cook near the street corner but plenty of seating a couple storefronts down. Very enjoyable meal here.

My best Bún chả in Hanoi - amazing flavorful soup with meatballs barbecued to perfection. Fresh vegetables and tasty pickled garlic to adjust to your taste.
Rolls are not matching my taste as they are a little bit too fatty.
This may not affect the rating of the 5* Bún chả though.
Don’t miss it!

Him: By far the best bun cha we had in Hanoi. There are tables 20meters down the street from the stall, so don't worry when you see the stall without any seating options.

Her: A good balance of sweet and savoury. Generous portion of meat grilled to prefection. Fresh vegetables and clean environment is a plus too. The springroll is crispy and love the fillings with mushroom.

Hole in the wall, authentic hidden gem type place which is delicious! I've tied Bun Cha at Met, Dac Kim and this place so far, and I would go as far to say this I like this place more than the famous Dac Kim. The broth is tastier (has the right balance of sweetness) and the pork is juicier. The spring rolls are excellent, although I prefer the Dac Kim ones, although it's a different style. Atmosphere score is low but it's meant to be a no frills place

Best Bún Chả I've had in Hanoi. The spring rolls are just delicious and crispy. The sauce is perfectly balanced as well. Please try this place when you're in Hanoi

Amazing bun cha! Recommended to me by a Hanoian, this place is a must try. Be sure to get bun cha and the spring rolls as well (nem rán).

Delicious street Bun Cha and Nem Ran! Best we’ve had so far in Hanoi! Crowded with locals. Freshly made right in front of you! Don’t miss eating here for ultimate local experience and a delicious meal! Dipping sauce comes warm - not hot - which is traditional.

The best place to try Bún chả, my most favorite dish from North Vietnam! Delicious and affordable.

Easily the best Bun Cha I've had in the last 6 years of living in Vietnam. Highly recommend. The ném ran are quite big and the bun cha has a lot of meat in it.
