Food was really good and delicious! The combination of traditional sticky rice with BBQ pork and shredded pork frost was perfect. The service was average, but will definitely visit again for the food only.

My favorite local food by far. The turmeric sticky rice concept is very interesting, very tasty. They’re generous with their toppings as well. Above all, I really loved the free pickled cucumbers on the side

Get the mixed rice for a taste of every topping! All the ingredients were very flavorful and the sticky rice had its own unique flavor as well. They also give you pickled cucumbers to cut through the richness of the sticky rice. Absolutely delicious!

Good food and efficient service. We preferred the traditional sticky rice to the turmeric version…too many fried shallots on top. The individual dishes were tasty and overall, it was great value for money.

I love the food here. It’s delicious and very affordable. The restaurant is also situated in the center of the old village so you can easily find it. The food is much more delicious compared to nearby restaurants with higher prices. They offer authentic and fresh Vietnamese food.

As a German I love savory food and this is a place where I get that taste (especially as other Vietnamese dishes are not that savory in comparison). Get the corn rice with an omelette and ice tea to start your Hanoi food tour. Free cucumber salad on the side!

The menu allows you to choose your sticky rice (choose the corn rice for an authentic version) and the accompaniment to go with the sticky rice. I recommend the over easy omelette.

Very hearty bowl of sticky rice with mixed toppings for 65k vnd

We visited here to try the Xoi Xeo (Vietnamese sticky rice breakfast). When you arrive you choose the type of sticky rice you want and toppings. The rice was around 20,000-30,000 VND (roughly a pound) and the toppings ranged from 10,000-65,000 (roughly 40p - £2.50) I chose mixed which had a range of toppings including a boiled fried egg, dry pork floss, Chinese sausage, Vietnamese meatloaf, pate and boiled chicken. My partner chose the Chinese sausage and BBQ pork. Both of our dishes were so tasty. I highly recommend it. We also got two cokes which were 15,000 each (roughly 60p).

The food was definitely something else as an experience. Tasty. Quite fatty, I couldn't finish my meal. But I've been around Vietnam and I've never seen this combination of ingredients.

I had the turmeric rice, chicken with mushrooms and barbecue pork.

I'm not sure why the rating is low. Food was really taste (though very filling but it is sticky rice after all). Turmeric rice comes with mungbean paste, the traditional did not. Ordered the soymilk, ice tea, and fried egg (omelette) and would order those again if I came back.

Was skeptical but enjoyed my food soo much! We still often reminisce about how good it was. Don’t skip the marinated, boiled, fried egg - was my favourite part!

Quick service, delicious food. Good portion size.
I Recommend the corn rice - best rice we’ve had so far in Vietnam.
Pickled cucumber came with it.
