Banana Tree Hostel Ha Giang

This is probably the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam and I don’t say that flippantly. The hostel is very clean and fresh with large dorm rooms, plenty of toilets and showers, and hot water! The is also a gym and a sauna you can pay a small fee to use, as well as a rooftop restaurant/bar. The staff are all so kind and friendly, they definitely make you feel welcome. When we stayed it was quiet, so not a lot of socialising, but perhaps this is because it is a new hostel so it will get more sociable over time as more people stay. Would definitely recommend!!

This hostel is incredible and one of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed at! The staff is very friendly and accommodating! They go above and beyond to ensure your stay here is comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers are amazing! The dorms are very large with comfortable beds. My room had a balcony with a view which was an added bonus. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful too. I highly recommend this place if you’re coming to Ha Giang!!

Stayed as one of the first guests in this new hostel. Great location with beautiful views from the rooms. The rooms are fully equipped. Comfortable beds, super nice showers and a cozy atmosphere. The staff have been very helpful and incredibly friendly! I 100% recommend this hostel for a stay in Ha Gaing. I loved my stay here! :-)

I had a great time experiencing the Ha Giang loop! The homestays we stayed at were amazing and the food was incredibly tasty!! Also our tourguide was so friendly, as well as the drivers! I really liked that it’s not too much of partying, compared to other tours. We still had so much fun, and a lot of happy water, but still got to get enough rest for the next day to have the best experience! Also, it definitely was more authentic than other tours (I guess), but there is definitely a lot more to see up there… All in all, I would definitely recommend this tour, you’ll have the best time everrrr!

New hostel in Ha Giang with very clean rooms and a fantastic rooftop terrace/restaurant (it’s a must see). Very nice and well located, I would definitely recommend. They are also the same owners than the Banana Tree in Tam Coc, which is one of the best hostels there.

Top location in Ha Giang, it’s a completely new hostel. Everything is very clean and cozy! The dorms are at the 6th floor and there is also a rooftop bar and restaurant which I really recommend.

The best place ever, facilities and staff are great. The highlight is Chinh, she is very friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing hostel!!

The the rooms and facilities are perfect and very new, there is a great restaurant on the rooftop with amazing food, and the service is 5 stars! Christine from the reception was really sweet and helped us with everything we needed.

We did the Ha Giang Loop with them, and it was a truly unforgettable experience! Our guide, Hanh, was the best! He speaks English very well, knows everything about the place and took us away from the main roads to explore some off-the-beaten paths that made the trip much more special! I really recommend doing a smaller tour instead of the big tours with dozens of people - you will have a much more authentic experience.

Both Ninh Binh and Ha Giang Banana hostels are spectacular! Ha Giang is brand new! Amazing infrastructure. The restaurant on the rooftop is excellent and also offers delicious western food options.
Quy (Ninh Binh) and Christine (Ha Giang) were excellent in organizing our transfers, suggesting tours according to our preferences and accommodating our demands. Lovely professionals!
Ha Giang Loop with Banana Tree hostel was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Our guide Hanh took us to the most remote villages in the region, where few tourists have the pleasure of visiting. We had real contact with the local culture, driving through narrow roads where large groups don't go. Hanh has excellent English and demontrates great pleasure in presenting his country. The easy riders Luong and Cau were very friendly and drove with great caution, leaving us absolutely safe. Ha Giang with Banana Tour was our best choice of the trip!!! (Thank you, Quy)

5 star infrastructure. Ample rooms, showers and bathroom much better than in my own place 😅
Really really recommend it, we did Ha giang loop with them and was so good, only us as the guides in the group, so perfect. Unforgetable experience. The Easy Riders, who are local from the area, were incredibly nice, showing us local games like the keep-up with the "peteca", explaining everything in detail and even showing us and invitem into their friends houses, a very nice old Hmong lady even offered us their food to try!
Felt really immersed in the culture, much different then the usual Ha Giang loop with a huge group and dozens of motorbikes, amazing 10/10

Everything is really clean and spacious. Service is great and its easy to organise everything trough the hostel.
