Qahvaxona Orom-O'tkir Aka

We had 6 skewers of lamb, some salad bowls and a tea. If you want authentic dish this is the place. Many locals were dining here. Found by accident but worth it. No menu, we pointed out at items and they bought it in. The bill came to 220k which is cheaper compared to other touristic traps.

Totally agree with Marco’s view and thoughts on this place! Fresh salads and appetisers, lots to choose from. Service is fast and prompt despite the lack of English, friendly as well. Kitchen facilities were open, so hygiene looks very good, too! A problematic issue could be the habit to serve only drinks in bottles (no single glass orders). Grilled food is absolutely delicious! No smoking inside the building, but in the backyard it’s permitted.

This place popped up while searching for local restaurants and it was exactly what we were looking for. Its nothing fancy, its where locals go, barely any English words, few drinks on the menu, but amazing food (shashlik primarily but grill in general). Salads were fresh and came with an explanation and recommendation. Local bread is served. Prices are good (approx 40.000 SUM per person, for single course with salad, bread and drinks).

Местечко аутентик! Лепешки слоеные раскошные, рулет из говядины с курдючным жиром великолепен!!! Шашлык из баранины чуть жестковат.
Много местного населения, большими компаниями весело вкушали обед.
