Mazza food ( National house Lutfillo)

It was fabulous to meet Frank at his family at their historic home in old time Samarkand. His family taught ours to make plov, and we shared a very memorable night together. The meal was one of the best we had in Uzbekistan!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Samarkand. Lutfillo and his family cooked us the most delicious plov, along with delicious salads and other Uzbek snacks. It was great to learn how to make proper plov, and the general atmosphere was great. The dining room was marvellous - and it is special eating at a unesco world heritage site! I’d really recommend this to anyone!

Fantastic dinner and experience. We prepared Samarkand plov with the family and ate it in their beautiful dining room. The house is a well preserved example of Jewish architecture. We arrived last minute and we were still welcome, but generally it is better to call and book to make sure that the food is available. The hospitality was great and the price very convenient!

This is such a cool and unique experience, they open their house and allow you to see how the plov is made. The food was delicious!

A really unique experience at a UNESCO heritage site. Live like a local and travel back in time. See how local food is made. Highly recommend.
