Restaurant "KARIMBEK"

Hands down one of the best in Samarkand, this is very upmarket where locals eat but reasonably.priced, beer is cheap as well.
Portion size is big so order less...

Many reviews here state that there is no English menu, but there is! You simply need to get hold of the Russian menu and scan the QR code printed at the front to access the English menu digitally. Viewing the said menu online, you will be able to browse various delectable dishes described in English in their full glory, such as: "The scone is small", "Red Fish Steak", and "Milky Banana Cocktail". Highly recommended

I recently visited this place and was delighted by the beautiful decor and well-lit ambiance that perfectly showcased the traditional spirit of Uzbekistan.

The menu was a treasure trove of delicious Uzbek meals, and I couldn't get enough of their kabobs, breads, and salads.

Very hospital staff and cheap prices. Highly recommended!!!

Spatious place with a big terrace, waiters speak english. The service is very good, fast and accurate. Food was very good! Unfortunately, only several vegetarian options were available.

The service and hospitality is excellent. The atmosphere is just so awesome, they serve the most amazing mixed grilled .. highly recommended to travellers who goes to Uzbekistan.

We were told about this place by a Tourist Taxi driver and will admit to thoughts about it possibly being a tourist trap. And we were so wtong. The food, the ambience and of course the service was top notch. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of the young server who took our order with great patience despite the language barrier. We even felt the opposite of sticker shock when the bill came, lol.
Karimbek has my unequivocal recommendation if you are in Samarkand.

It is a celebration place with large rooms, so it may coincide with a wedding.

Lovely place, although there is a whole construction going on the street. It’s really fancy inside, helpful staff, we ordered our dishes, they were really delicious, beginning with the bread and till the shashleek. 10/10

Amazing value, the best meal I had in all of Uzbekistan. Their menu is massive and has some great choices. The wait staff are excellent as well.

The food was really good. Tons of options for anyone into meat. Local dishes are plenty and it's cheap as well. They do have prices for the English menu and I was able to order with the waiter with the mix of spoken english and Google translate. They won't let you inside to see the music show if u are dressed casual though.

Food was fresh and delicious. The ambience inside is a mix of traditional and modern, with lots of pretty lights to create a romantic mood.

Good food, great service offered by our server Shahrizoda. She took the time to explain the menu and we ordered from pictures. Great atmosphere, good bbq and it looks like the locals come here to celebrate special occasions. A little pricey but expected.

Great service. Even better food. I would highly recommend the beef rolls and the vegetable julienne.

We loved the hectic atmosphere of the restaurant, there’s a lot going on, and be prepared to repeat your order a few times and get things brought to you randomly but we left very satisfied because everything was delicious, extra marks are for liver shashlik! Had a separate room which was nice too
They have outdoor tables and a huge inside seating area too
