I went in on 8/9/23 while i was on my trip to ocean city from massachusetts, i knew absolutely nothing about saltwater fishing. I came in with a rod and reel and the younger kid working put the appropriate line on it for what i was fishing for, then he showed me what bait to use, he showed me how to setup a rig for flounder, and went as far as showing me how to reel it in to have a better chance at catching one. 20 minutes later i was catching flounder. Couldnt have went to a better bait shop. I'll definitely be back next summer for my trip. Awesome shop

I needed bait the other sunday and it was night they were open till 10 so it was perfect, they had a lot of options to choose from and a lot of nice gear, and the service was very friendly thank you

I stopped In to this tackel shop that a coworker recommended. He has been going there for years . I am a fresh water fisherman just getting into the surf fishing I met the owner Chris (great dude ) he spent almost a half hour with me on all the gear I needed I purchased rod,reel,all types other gear long story short .GREAT PLACE AWSOME PEOPLE!!! thanks chris.

The three quarts of minnows today might have been overkill but live chumming them to mahi on the pots was awesome. We could have caught dozens more but had enough for many dinners.

This is the best bait and tackle shop in south jersey. Staff is always friendly, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Chris, the owner is a super guy and always has time to give some advice share some local fishing spots, and help with any type of gear or bait you may be looking for. You can't get this kind of service in hometown feeling in the big sporting goods stores. So help the locals out by all your fishing gear from these guys you won't regret it!

Great family local owned business. Chris his sister Tara n their employees always helpful and willing to try and answer any questions. Live baits and anything else you may need to go fishing. Convenient location on Bay ave. Open 5am-10pm 7 days a week.

This place was amazing!
You can purchase every/any kind of lure, bait or equipment that you can imagine. The only downside is, you can easily spend more money than originally intended. The staff is knowledgeable about what fish are biting best in the area.That said, go on and have some fun!

Everything you might need packed into this store! Chris was very pleasant to talk to, and answered any questions I had. Excellent selection of baits here as well!! I would highly recommend this shop for any fishing needs!!

It is always a great feeling to be down at the shore with the kids to do some fishing. We have been in and out of Tight lines Bait n Tackle for years. They are always hospitable and have what is needed for your fishing trips.
