Wonderful place for all vegetables & fruit. A great go-to place in the Somers Point area. Their selection is very good and all their produce is fresh.

Love this place. In and out in a hurry and they have everything. Milk eggs butter refrigerator foods produce deli. Dry foods, pasta candy nuts. Bread rolls chips canned Italian specialty- I spend $70 everytime I walk in. Never disappointed. I've never tried the deli. Or frozen foods or prepared foods because we don't eat like that but the fried chicken smells terrific.

I don't live in the area but every monthly visit to my friends house Santori's is always my last stop before going home! You cannot beat the prices and quality! The people who work there are friendly. I got all this for 25 bucks today! 4 cucs, 3 bags of peppers (about 8lbs), kale, 2lbs zucchini, 5lbs potatoes, 2lbs beets, 2lbs parsnips, 2lbs tomatoes, 4 bunches of asparagus, a container of real veggie chips, greenbeans, Look at those beautiful red and orange peppers! They'd be 7 dollars easy at let's say shoprite. I got 2 lbs for 3 bucks. That HUGE bag of cleaned and trimmed kale was 1.99 😍The asparagus was in the "special" bin. 2 bunches for 1 dollar. So for the 4 bucnbes I paid 2 bucks. They discount produce that may start to have a few spots or bruises but I'm telling you it's all perfectly good stuff!

Great local produce and Dietz and Watson deli. You can buy bulk and also per piece for most produce, which is convenient for small and large families or businesses.

They have cold cuts and fruits and vegetables.
Excellent healthy lunch choices. Fresh made garden salads and fruit salads. Perfect lunch size and just 3-4 dollars. Clean, organized store with friendly and helpful staff. I have been getting my lunches here for over 10 years now. Always a good experience and great value.
Deitz and Watson cold cuts about half the price of the two nearby supermarkets.

This place is great! They have all kinds of fruits and vegetables, some of them are rare! I never saw different colored carrots before but they had them! And just recently, I got purple peppers! Adds a little fun to your veggies! They have a wide selection of deli meats and cheeses as well! I always get my feta there 💕 There's also breads - baked fresh or bagged, some random groceries, lots of packaged snacks, nuts, raisins, etc. Prices are good, but depending on the shortages, might be a little higher here and there. But that's the same with everywhere. They have plenty of boxes up front that you can put your purchases in if you don't bring your bags. It's my go to place!!

The store is always clean. It has a great selection of produce and is fresher than the large grocers. This time of year the fruit is great. The prices are much better also. They have deli counter that is pretty good too. Everyone is friendly in there. Check it out. Bring your own bags, remember it is Somers Point.

Very broad selection of fruits and vegetables, many unique. Good quality with inexpensive pricing, certainly a good place to shop. Deli was too busy to order, crazy on a rainy Sunday.

I buy produce, deli meats and some select unique items when they have them. The ladies that Cashier know you and are always pleasant. Produce DOESN'T go bad like some other local produce stores. Prices are reasonable and the variety is good.

Best lunchmeat down the shore. Only place I can find all my Italian delicatessens, under one roof, like soppressata, capicola, mortadella. Always fresh from the meats to the produce!

Nothing ever last forever.

I've finally made it down the shore for a weekend.

I stop by Santori's Produce in Somers Point to pick up a few things.

I usually get five pounds of NY American cheese, a couple of flavored cheeses, along with fruit, vegetables, and nuts (the total purchase coming in between $75 and $100).

After standing in front of the lunchmeat counter for about three minutes a tall gentleman wearing a hat (that I recognize since he has worked there for a few years) asked if I've been waited on so I say "no not yet".

He replied "what can I get for you?"

I said I would like five pounds of NY American cheese sliced thin please" and then if they had a bacon ranch cheddar to which he said no.
He told me the flavored cheddar they had.

I went with steakhouse onion and a horseradish.

He started cutting the NY and placing the cut slices on the scale.

I looked at what he had cut (approximately a half pound) and told him we had a different definition of thin.
I told him a pound cut like that wouldn't last the day in my house.

He cut the next slice and showed it to me.

I said that was much better.

So he had about three pounds cut and took the thickly sliced and inserted into the middle of the two pounds of thinly cut cheese (not thinking I saw this because he and his tall female coworker were standing side by side with their backs facing me like a shield).

He finished cutting the five pounds and let his coworker (same woman as earlier) use the slicer to cut cheese for another customer.

I'm wondering why he's not finishing my order but I didn't say a word about it.

So while I'm waiting for his coworker to finish another customer's order, with his gloves on he removes his hat, wipes his forehead, puts the hat back on his head and adjusts it on his head with both hands (one at the front of his hat and the other hand at the back of his hat touching his hair).

So when I see he is not going to change his gloves I inform the man I'm fine with the five pounds he cut and changed my mind on the other two pounds of cheese.

I've been going to Santori's for years (too many to remember) because the help in the past has been amazing and I would even say formed friendly relationships with some of the former and current employees.

Also their prices are really hard to beat and I'm just like everyone else...money matters.

Since Covid I realized the world has changed (my opinion not for the better) and employers are having difficult times finding help.

To me this isn't the case.
I've been in the customer service field at one job for over 24 years and at my other job over seven years.
Being in this field you have to be at your best even when you're not felling your best.
If you can't do that you should stay home.

The reason is because you need these customers to shop at your place of employment.

If they don't shop where you work then the employer cuts hours or even staff because of the drop in sales.

I will continue to shop at Santori's (not sure if they are happy with that) but I just want the staff to step it up a notch and definitely be conscious of food safety practices.

Thank you for your time in reading this and hearing me out.

Great visit. Hats off to Aaron for slicing my lunch meat as requested. It isn't always that way, but when someone listens it makes a difference!
