Chester General Store

Love the store. Deli and sandwiches are very good, chicken salad highly recommended. Super nice. A LOT of variety of beers and the sweet treats like cookies and brownies are delicious. Take and bake pizzas are good for pizza night at home.

We love the sandwich counter - and shopping through shelves of locally made products is always a treat! Perfect spot to go if you need to find a gift and prefer to avoid the big box stores or Amazon.

The General Store is like the central hub in town. The owners are wonderful. They're always so pleasant and accommodating. The atmosphere is welcoming and always fun to visit. You'll always bump into someone you know.
PS...Probably the BEST craft beer selection in the state.

Each time I have been in the General Store I have found what I needed and more! The pizza is pretty FANTASTIC! Love love love the take n bake option! Tons of good eats, pizza, yummy subs, amazing homemade baked goods... Sam, Miriam and all the staff at the General Store are genuinely good people - stop in and you will not be disappointed.

Great store for anything you need. Deli is a great spot for lunch. I noticed they have a reslly nice selection of col craft beer on hand. Sandwich was excellent with Boars Head meat. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will stop by again when running through Chester.

I was driving through town and stopped by to grab a bite to eat. Lots of local products, and the people there were so kind and helpful. The cold cut sandwich I bought was also top notch!

I grew up in Chestah many years ago when the store was owned and run by Pearly Spollett. I've been back a couple of times and was delighted to find it largely unchanged including the name. Service was great and the store stock remarkably varied.

Google maps indicate that the name has now been changed to a generic Chester General Store ... too bad.

Food's ALWAYS fresh, folks are always friendly. Such a nice addition to our town!

Chester General Store is quaint, easy to find, and chock full of the neatest, tastiest foods, including LOTS of New Hampshire-made items! Staff is always friendly and helpful. You MUST go there!

They welcome U every time. If ur a regular they'll have ur "regular" order ready ( if u purchase behind the counter items 😉)

I live in Massachusetts, and I deal with attitudes ( not to mention I also have my OWN healthy attitude😂😉) on a daily basis from ppl who are seemingly miserable and or hate their job to which their attitudes and demeanors show...

Great store for any quick shopping or a snack. Every one who works there is really nice and pleasant to talk to. Also like seeing the owner Sam when he's there he's also super friendly.
