Went to Tyler to get fitted for clubs, which quickly morphed into getting lessons and clubs, and I could not imagine a better experience. Tyler is not only an expert craftsman, but a great golf instructor and great all around guy. His patient and holistic approach to both the lessons and the fitting meant so much to me and grew my appreciation for the game even deeper. Tyler is a true professional. He was very easy to get a hold of via text. I needed to shorten a few clubs and he provided excellent service (as shown in pictures).

His shop has a very good variety of grips that I was able to feel and choose from. I picked the tour velvet 360 and the golf pride cp2.

Met the owner Tyler while golfing and saw his custom clubs and decided to have some work done on my putter. Tyler is easy to work with and communicates well throughout the process. Had some alignment dots added on top of the putter head and some weight added in the shaft. Tyler got it done quick and for a good price. Also regripped a couple of my clubs while I was picking up my putter. Would recommend to anyone, total pro and excited to see what he does in the future!

So I got my clubs regripped at Tyler's house which is where he operates out of. He is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, good humored and just full of useful information. He and his wife were very welcoming and kind to me and I can hand-on-heart highly recommend any golf club forging or re-gripping needs go through Jaxon (the name of his sweet puppers)

I was looking for a shop that would help me replace my 20+ year old clubs with a full new set and when I googled golf fitters near me Jaxon Golf was the first place that popped up. It was a mile from my home so I gave Tyler a call and set up a time to meet. I have never been fit for clubs and Tyler made the experience a lot of fun and educational. Whether you geek out on swing speed, ball speed, side ball speed, etc or just want someone to explain things in laymen's terms Tyler is the man. Not only is Tyler one of the funniest and nicest people you will meet -he is incredibly hard working and extremely knowledgeable about his craft.I never felt like he was trying to get me to buy the most expensive set of clubs just so that he would make more money. He also didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and I appreciate that as I have worked in the service industry and hate when people do that to me.I ended up buying a set of one length Wishon EQ1-NX irons with Graphtech lite shafts and Stargrips Pro Midsize grips and customized orange striped tube-sock ferrules by BB&F Co. I also got a 3 wedge set of ERG W7 Wedges -shafts by SK Fiber and grips by Stargrips .The irons and the wedges are absolutely gorgeous. I also purchased a Maltby driver and driving iron. I absolutely love the whole set and can't say enough good things about Tyler. I would never go to anyone else again. Please support this small business owner as I will continue to!!!

Tyler is great! I got my clubs lengthen and re-gripped and wow it's like a whole new set of clubs! Fair price and quick turnaround. Would highly recommend Tyler's work on clubs and his lessons!

Highly recommend! I had an iron fitting done with Tyler at Jaxon golf and it was basically a lesson as well. I’m a relatively new golfer and kept feeling like the big retailers were just trying to sell me clubs without actually caring about what was best for me. The standard fitting places also cost hundreds of dollars just for the fitting itself, then upcharge the equipment so by the time they’re pricing out irons you’re looking at a few thousand dollars. Tyler was very affordable and more knowledgeable than most golf shop pros I’ve dealt with before. He’s also super down to earth and very easy to talk to. Tyler basically helped me make a few adjustments to my swing before even starting the fitting to ensure I had a more consistent swing when testing irons so that we would get more accurate results. I was hitting a 7 iron at around 70mph for a total of maybe 130 yards at the beginning and after a few simple tweaks, Tyler had me up at around 85mph hitting as far as 155 yards. If you’re looking for a fitting where the guy actually cares and isn’t just trying to make a sale, this is the place to go.

I am not one to leave reviews often, but I feel compelled to do so because if your looking for a coach and/or a club fitter, Tyler is your guy. I originally met with Tyler to get fitted for a new set of irons. Within 15 minutes, he made a few slight adjustments to my swing which significantly improved my ball striking and consistency. I left that day with a new set of clubs and a coach. After 3 lessons with Tyler, I played 4 more rounds of golf and averaged a 5 stroke improvement!! Tyler is a gem and I would highly recommend Tyler to any novice, expert or any golfer in between looking for a great human to improve their game.

Tyler is great to work with! I needed a few fixes (adaptor change, shaft cut, grip change) that I would usually do myself at my parent's home but wanted it done sooner than later. Tyler did a fantastic job and even took a few extra steps throughout the process to ensure optimal quality. As an amateur club builder and an avid golfer, I can highly recommend Jaxon golf!

Tyler is an encyclopedia of golf gear. In a typical conversation he's likely to reference different design choices, metallurgy, grips, shafts and their impact to your swing and feel. The guy not only knows his stuff but is clearly passionate about sharing his love the game by setting you up to enjoy your round. I'd highly recommend Jaxon golf for repair and maintenance work or to hit a few balls in the sim and talk shop.

Great (and efficient) experience with Tyler and Jaxon. The shop is easy to get to. Tyler was helpful in recommending good replacement grips and was able to re-grip my entire set in 45 minutes (while I waited).

As all humans are built differently, real golfers know that a comfortable grip is essential. Unfortunately, large golf stores cannot accommodate those out of the “ normal” range Tyler was able to customize grips for my husband who has extremely large hands. His golf game has improved drastically! Thank you Tyler!!
