Dollar General

So glad we have somewhere so close to get produce and those weekly staples. Very well stocked store. They even have a self scanner if youre in a hurry. They always have what I need.

Pekin General Dollar hasn't failed me uet. I'm relatively new in town and they stayed supplied during the peak of covid19. I'd like to the workers at ALL the Dollar General stores that we appreciate you and we all thank you for what you're doing.

Good place to get the things that you forgot to get at the store. Biggest thing to me is all OF THE UNNECESSARY OVERSIZED CLOTHES ON THE FLOORS AND IN THE ISLES. ****WAS CLEANING UP THE STORE WHEN YOU'RE NOT BUSY NOT EVEN PART OF THE JOB DISCRIPTION OR DUTIES????*** I ABSOLUTELY HATE TO HAVE TO GET ANYTHING I NEED FROM THIS LOCATION, IT'S DISCUSTING, SHABBY, AND IS IN NEED OF A MANAGER THAT ISN'T AFRAID TO GET RID OF THE UNNECESSARILY LAZY "SLACKERS" YOU CALL EMPLOYEES AND HIRE REAL PEOPLE THAT WANT,NEED, AND WILL APPRECIATE THE JOB AND DO IT WITH PRIDE!! I HAVE APPLIED TO THIS LOCATION ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND I HAVE YET TO GET ANYTHING BUT THE RUN AROUND AS TO WHY I'M NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO BE HIRED. I HAVE NO FELONIES, I HAVE NO CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, I HAVE NO PROBLEM PASSING A DRUG SCREEN AND I HAVE MANAGEMENT AS WELL AS CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. WHAT IS GOING ON AT THIS COMPANY..... I HAVE NO DOUBT WHAT SO EVER That a SENIOR EXECUTIVE NEEDS TO BE A LOT MORE HANDS ON WHEN IT COMES TO THIS LOCATION.

It's a very clean store. Not boxes laying out everywhere. The staff was super friendly..

One employee stood out the best of all her name tag said Sasha she is always so helpful and polite she makes our visit great every time

I love my local dollar general. Small town so we go there a lot and u get to know the staff and some are just wonderful.
