American Cancer Society Discovery Shop

This is a beautiful shop with lots of treasures! We found some amazing furniture here at very reasonable prices, and we were quite happy that the proceeds to go the American Cancer Society. Everyone was super friendly and kind.

I volunteer at the Discovery Shop on Sunday afternoon. It is a great way to meet people, help customers and find great deals for us as well. The idea that the American Cancer Society gets the profits makes me feel that I am returning the favor for the help I received when I was a cancer patient.

Small store filled with quality items. Items well priced, which is to say not inexpensive. Location is a little tricky, but absolutely worth the visit if you're in the area. People, as well, were very nice. Great little place.

Neat local shop in CDM with fantastic finds from fashion 👗 & shoes 👠 to home decor & much more. Nice prices & great friendly staff 🙂 plus it supports cancer research. 👍 What could be better. HaPpY shopping.🛍

The American Cancer Society's Discovery Shop offers a fine selection of new and lightly used clothing, furniture, jewelry and books. The volunteer staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, with many special sales throughout the year.

Wheelchair accessible from the free parking area in the rear and the underground lot. An elevator serves the underground parking. Limited street parking in front of the store which is not wheelchair compatible, due to several steps. Bathrooms are ADA compliant, but require a key that is available at the Discovery Shop's check out desk.

The best part of the American Cancer Society Discovery store is that your purchases help the American Cancer Society directly. You will find some really great men's and women's clothing here and also clothing accessories, artwork, household items (dishes, vases, etc.) and furniture. The prices here are a little higher than in some resale stores so it's a good idea to look for their sales. Their next sale is 50% off on June 8th and 9th.

Super clean. Great choices, but on the higher end for a thrift store.

Quality has decreased for the men's selection. I realize this may be out of their control - but it used to be that there were some real great deals here and now's it just ugly old men's shirts. The women's too, not quite as edgy.

I’ve been to this shop a few times now. It is very overpriced.
