I've been here a couple times. The people are friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the tamales are really fresh and taste similar to how my grandma used to make them. Lastly, it has a nice Mexican atmosphere. Overall, I recommend coming here for tamales.

I highly recommend this location for their tamales!!! Always always get them here. They have a great taste, perfectly balanced, not to soggy, not to dry not to greasy, just right! Every time!

My 90 year old father, wants strawberry tamales, I can't say no. While I'm there, everything goes! Love the food, everything!

This place has the absolute best tamales in all of north west indiana. It’s also a grocery store where you can buy fresh salsa guacamole and chips. The pollo verde tamales are my favorite but the other ones are great as well!

Hands down the Best Tamales in our area! Tamales have good proportion of meat in them so you’re not eating mostly masa. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Toughest part is figuring out which kind of tamale to buy.

Best tamales in a 100 mile radius and worth the trip for Naperville to this little gem in East Chicago. The masa prepared amazing forget the fake tamales made out of Mesca with cheap quality ingredients and this place is very clean as well.

If you want homemade tamales you can get them here but if you want to make them at home they are great they have prepare dough with salt and without salt and they have pineapple strawberry and cinnamon for the people that like to Sweet tamales too.
