I came to all the way from California to see my sister in Killeen Texas for the weekend. I asked about an an African Store nearby to grab a few things so my sister could prepare a feast. I was greet as soon as I walked in. Sister Ruby was very pleasant and she showed me their wide selection. I bought her snails for okro soup, simply amazing! Nothing but glowing reviews for Makola! If you are in Killeen, kindly do your best to check this store out. You will not be disappointed!

I like the fact that the place is always clean and smells good too, unlike other African markets that the odor alone pushes you out of the store. Products are always fresh and affordable. This place is the best African market in central Texas, they have everything you need.

I love this store. Always has variety of African grocery and condiments in stock, both fresh and frozen. Great price compared to Austin and Houston Texas considering location. Also friendly with great customer service too.

Finally found an authentic African market/ store to purchase authentic Ghanaian food products. Great service and awesome products. I was so happy they literally had everything and was quality products. Though it was quite the drive from where I am, I will still go visit again and again. I really missed my Ghanaian products yall!

Your one stop shop for your African and Carribean products. The place is organized and neat. Why travel an hour or more when their friendly staff is available to assist at all times. Don't know the products name in English no problem describe it or say it in a different language and voila. I am getting my calallo for my callalo and salted fish with ground provisions on my next trip. Try it and you would love me forever

On time delivery , I'm currently in Kuwait but I miss my African food so placed and order and within a week I got it.. this is the place to order from if you miss home made food. Great customer service...

The best place to shop for your African and Caribbean food stuffs in central Texas. This is where I have been buying my stuff since 2017. I’ve never been disappointed. Store owner is very respectful.

I was able to get most items needed in one shop. I also like the convenient of being able to buy in bulk with this shop owner, hence there is no need to travel to Houston/Dalas just to stock up my freezer. Great prices too
