Rite Aid

Rite Aid Ballston Ave Saratoga Springs store has helpful, friendly staff and a wide variety of goods. They were decorating for Christmas (before Thanksgiving?? grrrr) so some aisles were a bit disheveled - but not blocked.
Pharmacy and staff are wonderful - knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating.

The only improvement I'd suggest is a wider selection of inventory on the shelves, but I found most of what I was looking for.

Rite Aid store in Saratoga Springs has the friendliest people when it comes to a pharmacy. The store is very clean and organized well stocked. The cashier was very patient with all my coupons and discounts and rewards and she took the time to check out correctly every item.

Rite Aid, unlike its competitors, have always stayed true to their core mission, being a customer service based pharmacy and retail store. I worked for them over 40 years ago and the company, store associates, and pharmacists are still the best in the pharmacy and retail store business. They carry much better products, bigger selection for all types of shoppers - organic to traditional - and treat their customers with respect and courtesy. Best prices overall as well. I wouldn't shop or have scripts filled anywhere else.

Pharmacists are top notch

I concur with Ms. White's thoughts on the blonde woman in the pharmacy below. Her name is Denise, I believe. I stopped in to buy some items that we have purchased from this Rite Aid Pharmacy four to five times a year, for the past 15-20 years. That woman cut me off and said that that store had never sold those items, never. I told her I just purchased the items four or five weeks ago, again she cut me off and said the store had never sold them, ever. She argued with me about it for five minutes. Finally, I just left. Phyllis and both Holly's were excellent and helped us out, but I cringe when I have to go into the store to pick something up.

Dang, if it's not on sale you're paying an arm and a leg.

Fuggedaboutit

First off - I love Rite Aid. I just moved and immediately transferred my prescriptions to this store in Saratoga. The pharmacist is nice, and other employees greet you and are friendly.
I would give this store a 5* except for the blond woman in the pharmacy. She pretended not to see me for 5 minutes and when finally sauntering over, never spoke to me, just looked at me. I gave her my name, she looked it up, still no smile and not a word, walked away and when she called my name and came back with my Rx, still no smile, not a spoken word. Cold fish.
Maybe she had a bad day - but I'm a person, a customer and I did or said nothing to be treated like that. And this isn't the first time I've noticed her behavior to both myself and others as If she hates her job and the customers. Especially considering pharmacy customers might not feel well themselves.
No customer should be treated like they barely exist while spending money in their store.
