A great little skate shop. Awesome customer service.

I managed to put together a good little beginner board for a youngster I know by getting a board, trucks and wheels from the free bin.
Some fresh grip tape, bearings and raisers and a sticker for completing the board only cost me $20.

These people care about the community and aren't just there to make money! The shop is pretty new and frequently getting more gear, etc. in stock. I stopped by to look at helmets and pads and the worker was very helpful in finding out my correct sizes. I highly recommend Gonzo Skate Shop! Support small biz. 🛹

Great prices in comparison to competition on York. Excellent customer service = friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and all around great vibe! Family oriented and a business in business not for themselves but for the community. Owner and employees care and are BEING the change in the world they wish to see... skating can be pricey but if it means supporting them and their cause I'd pay double but you won't have to! They even have donation bin for those who can't afford so donate. S👏 (not a friend or paid for this review, just simply impressed)

Needed a helmet for my 11 year old daughter as she just started to skateboard. Gentleman behind counter had technical difficulties with card reader so I said I’d run out to get cash. Came back and he apologized, gave a little discount and chucked in a magazine and stickers for my daughter too. Great customer service was helpful and gave encouraging advice to my daughter.

I grabbed a new board from gonzo skate shop and it was a pretty awesome shop. There was a young kid in there and the gentleman working was doing everything he could to help the young man find the perfect board so customer service is on point. If I recall correctly the gentleman's name was Ben so shout-out to him. We appreciate you supporting the community.

I went into Gonzo’s to buy some wheels and bearings for a kid at my youth group. Not only was the customer service outstanding the guy that helped me decided what to go with was super explanatory and just a great vibe! His name is Ben what a awesome dude . You don’t get that service from any mainstream shops. Why’ll speaking with another homie in the shop they where telling me about the charity’s that they have setup, and the skate spots they are building for the little ones that they want to get into skating, and there donations box for kids that might not have enough to get into skating!!

Nice shop. Great hours. Free used deck bin. Community aspect and partnering with nonprofits to raise awareness of mental health sets these guys apart. The social worker side of me is digging it.
