Was referred to this store by a friend and was not disappointed. Walked in the door to amazement of how much Pokemon cards and collectibles there were. Have been back many times with great success at finding cards for sets I’m trying to complete and the owner and his wife are very nice and knowledgeable about the cards and all the memorabilia. Will continue to go to this store in the future.

The owner and his wife are both knowledgeable and friendly. The additional staff is genuinely nice also. But that is not the purpose of this review. Yes, you must visit this store if you’re into Pokemon and/or a part of the TCG community. Yes, it is the best collection of cards, packs, decks, graded cards, graded packs, full sets, & general Pokemon memorabilia that I have ever seen with my own two eyes. But the reason you should visit is simple: Support a local small business. These guys are great! Highly recommended. It doesn’t hurt that you can also pick up a new four wheeler or outdoor toy simultaneously since the store is connected. Also owned by the same person I believe. And if you’re an out of towner - it is worth the drive. The QUALITY & customer service alone are worth it. Gas stations, fast food, and eat in restaurants all located within a mile of the store. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Hands down the best shop around. Friendly people great service. I've never seen a store that literally covers all the bases for your pokemon needs like this one does. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and takes pride in his selection. Will be returning soon!!!

Love this shop. You won't be disappointed at some of the stuff they have here. All I see here is collector paradise! I was able to sell some of my collection easily. Will come back again. Thanks James for your time!

If you consider yourself a part of the Pokemon community in our area and haven't been to the monster you are missing out. Genuinely great people, and product you're not going to see in most places. It's almost like having eBay at the tip of your fingers but not having to deal with the guy that has more money than sense outbidding you.....if you want anything, modern, vintage, sealed, singles, slabs or raw....da monster got it all....and this is an honest customer review...not family....I've spent 100's if not 1000s and they will keep getting it...latest pick up...kanto power and shining legends box...300 out the door

My first time I went there and wow!!!! It was like stepping back into my childhood in some small way. They had all the pokemon stuff. Plus they gave me what I feel was a fair deal on my ungraded cards. Take your cards up there and just see. Another thing I really liked was there was absolutely no pressure at all to sell. It'd definitely worth checking out even if your just window shopping.

I live in VA and found this store on Facebook and I ordered a few cards. He shipped them fast and in great packaging so they wouldn't get damaged. I highly recommend this place

Great place to do business with. The owner is very knowledgeable. He can help you with finding cards you are looking to complete sets for as well as pricing your current ones and he pays more than anybody else when selling to his shop.

This is by far the best store for Pokémon stuff that I have ever seen! We stopped in while traveling and we were amazed by their selection! We could’ve spent hours looking at everything. The owners were very nice, too. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Its amazing how toxic the pokemon community is. Undoubtedly this guy has the biggest pokemon collection in this part of NC from what I have laid eyes on. That in itself makes most of the collectors around shriek of jealously. (i have been in the market buying and selling for the past 8 years, what this man has is what I had always dreamed) But I will say, out of all the stores around, this place legitimately uses tcg to give you the best bang for your buck. Anywhere else you go you would literally get 15% or more LESS for what you bring in to sell to him. (although the tcg scanner can be finicky and not always give the best price, the scanner is a good basic tool instead of hand looking up every card out of the hundreds you might bring) I to be honest would not go anywhere else to sell. I have no even had the money to afford to buy, but I bet hes not charging 35-50% over ebay value like the otaku shop in hickory that also tries to buy at 30% value on tcg lowest even if its the damaged price. Sad sad but props to this guy

Everything went smoothly start to finish when purchasing cards. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Everything was priced well and I could tell it was more than a business…about more than turning a profit. I could pick up on the genuine excitement and see that they not only knew their stuff but also that unlike many other card shops(and ive been to many over the 20 years ive been collecting all over the East coast) … pokemonster actually does care about the customer and the pokemon community. As an avid collector it means a lot to see people still in it for the community and the love of the hobby and game.

i come to this guy for big bangers only, and i gotta say price is on point, service is on point, his selection/toys/singles u name it, hes got it. if you love slabs, or charizard ask to see his stuff you wont be disappointed. best pokemon dealer around by far. ive spent hundreds here already and more to come.

I know nothing about Pokémon. However my 9 year old son thoroughly enjoyed his visit here. He walked away happy and gained some knowledge about grading and such. We will return!

Best store within a 50 mile radius. There is no shop around here that has this much diverse product and still manages to have a nice, polite and PATIENT attitude with customers. Thanks guys wish y’all the best.
