A delightful employee in Marden's Biddeford store; Shawna! She went out of her way to assist me when I was purchasing some items for my brother who is in a nursing home in NH.

Wow!! I can’t believe they made the Biddeford store bigger, I’m glad they did & they added home decor fabric. Looks like I’ll be doing my kitchen chairs over.

You just never know what you will find. I love this store. Don't expect exact organization, but prices are amazing!

Go every time I'm in town. Hit or miss but always an adventure.

Good prices and a friendly staff. I wish they would put some more money into the store itself as it often looks run down. Just because it is a discount store doesn't mean that you have to buy the fixtures at a discount as well. Do more to dress the store up and make it appealing.

*Edit* After reading the store manager's response I changed my rating to 5 stars. I applaud you for opting to save money on the store layout, fixtures, shelving, etc and passing those savings on to the customers and employees.

Always surprised at what I can find here! I bought four dress shirts, four dress slacks, a jacket, belt, socks, all named brands with a few odds and ends for under $100 absolutely unbelievable! Another thing I love about this place is the prices on large boxes of snacks. I get all the office snacks here. If you see something you like don't wait until your next visit, you never know if it will still be there. Sometimes the variety and abundance is better than others. Overall a great store.

This is a very handy store for those utility items that often seem so expensive at other retailers. I haven't used them for a lot of other things that I should, so I'm sure I could be finding more value in the store (like sneakers, etc.) The shopping experience has been great, with courtious store clerks. You do need to be knowledgeable about current pricing, because sometimes not everything is a great value. So just be mindful of what you're shopping for and ask yourself (think carefully) if the item you're considering is really worth the asking price (to you). Are you really going to get a good amount of use (and utility) from the item for the price they're asking? If it is, then buy it (then - not later) if you can, because the same item might not be available there again after the item sells out.

What can you say about Marden's, other that they have virtually everything you might need. At a very reasonable price. Ample parking. Very nice staff, who seem to be long time employees, which speaks to the management and the company itself.

Found what I needed, was a well known name brand to boot, At a great price too!

Mainers love a good deal and that is exactly what Marden's provides! The Biddeford store is always kept in great order, organized, and clean. Staff are friendly and personable. Enjoy stopping in at least once a week for a gander as you never know what might be available.

Best place to check first for linens and seasonal needs. Great deals on clothes for all ages. I appreciate that they also stock nicer, more expensive brands too (Columbia, Boggs, Woolrich) if you are looking for something that will last a long time. Also cute souvenir stop for out of town friends and family...ours loved it.

I should have bought when I saw it!

You see something different every time you go!! Always a bargain. Employees are friendly. Prices are crazy low. I always go to a Marden's before searching elsewhere. If you see something you like, buy it. It won't be there next time you go.
