Cardona's Saratoga Market

It’s hard finding a place that sells guanciale. Im so happy to finally find a place that’s not to far from home. Im so thrilled that I can make Pasta Amatriciana with actual guanciale and not have to use pancetta instead. As you can see from the photo, it was bomb! The store is a nice solid Italian market. If you love olives and all the canned Italian foods this place is just right for you. Haven’t tried any of their pre-made salads but definitely tend to pig out the next time I go. Definitely going to be coming here for all my Italian food needs for the kitchen.

Love this place! Subs are always delicious. Got my husband one for the first time today & he loved it! I order off DoorDash & it’s never soggy or rushed. My go to! I wake up craving it. Torpedo sub roll is sooo fresh.

Italian sub all the way with a pickle on the side! Any of the pasta salads but I usually go to mozzarella/tomato or the pasta salad. The atmosphere is everything here, always welcoming and friendly! I saw another customer who looked unsure so I told him what I always get and he jumped right on board. Missing the Joe’s Tea drinks and hope they do get them back in for next time :)

Best subs in town, hands down. Even after the changeover from Roma, they maintained quality and ingredients (especially the sub rolls!), but added so much more.

Great sandwich. People behind the counter are very hard of hearing and can’t understand complex questions, so keep it simple when you order.

We used Cardona's Market for a family birthday gathering of 30. The suggested menu was delicious, delivered right to the room at our location and was enjoyed by all! Cardona's also made a lemon birthday cake for the party that was wonderful.
We would use them again!

Great selection of deli options and wonderfully made sides. The subs are top tier, and I'll go here for the same price as any other fast food sub place and I have a way better meal. Everything is cut to order, and made to perfection. Not to mention a wonderful collection of goods to buy in their small but plentiful in variety market. This is one of my favorite places to stop for food and I'm always making excuses to he near by

If you're wondering if Roma's can never be replaced, don't worry. Roma's and Cardona's in Albany were two very different places as far as I had experienced. Both provided all of the Italian market items you'd want to find, but Roma's was more like a deli and*perfect* sub place and Cardona's Albany was great for prepared foods - with all of the hot, delicious meal items available, I never thought of ordering a sandwich. Cardona's kept all the Roma's employees and even the way of doing things (you still can get your olives with your sub!). I loved Roma's, I wish it could have stayed Roma's, but Cardona's are doing an excellent job!

Excellent quality, expert craftsmanship, friendly service. You can't lose. Try the imported provolone, it'll change your life.

Wonderful subs. Their bread is always fresh and the meats/cheese of the upmost quality. I’m really glad the place we were going before was closed and we found Cardona’s. I could be more pleased.

I strongly recommend the pastrami, with Muenster, Italian dressing, and tomato on the rye.

Absolutely fantastic food. I had a chipotle chicken sub with sharp provolone, L, T, O and mayo. The bread was one of the best rolls I’ve had in ages! I picked up a container of macaroni salad as well… my wife sent me back the following day to pick up a pound of it to accompany our dinner at home. It’s now my favorite deli in Saratoga!

Ordered a platter from them and it was fantastic!! Pick up was fast and efficient super impressed with their customer service from ordering to pick up!! In a world where customer service is lost this was very pleasant! The food was amazing as well. Thank you!!

This place is beyond the bees knees. The selection of prime cuts is second to none. Walk in, boom, bombarded by the aroma of the refreshing authentic deli tones. Great sized portions and when offered the olives or the pickle, it’s always a tough decision! 9.5/10

The wait was worth the subs and cheese we bought. I went there before the track on a Saturday probably the busiest time of the week. The subs meat and cheese were all fantastic and priced great. I will return in the off season.

This place has some incredible subs. Everything is made to order (i.e. you ask for a roast beef sub and they will slice it to your preference). Also their bread is second to none where it's fresh and chewy with a crusty outside.
You might have to wait especially during lunch but it's worth it
