Safeway

I was nervous because the Safeway we used to go to (Tucson) was awful but this place is great! Always clean, well stocked, the people working have always been friendly and helpful. Definitely excited such a nice grocery store exists in this area. Especially since options are limited, makes a difference that this one is so lovely.

Had the fry chicken! Best tastie chicken compared to the Vons and Albertsons fried chicken in California. My boys asked for 2nds. They don't usually ask for 2nds.

The young lady that makes the sandwiches in the deli needs a raise. They are excellent and she is always accommodating and so nice. Thank you!

Clean store got Starbucks inside not too busy.

We just drove 9 hours and wanted to pick up some essentials. Cali K was our checkout clerk and she left an impression! She was quick, solid and personable. It was the best experience I've had checking out in a grocery store in a long time! I don't usually leave reviews (especially of grocery stores), but she really stood out as exceptional!

Love this store, their french bread is always great especially when you can get it fresh! Their hot food is also pretty great though they tend to usually be low on potato wedges and Mac and cheese but their chicken is good too. I would also highly recommend their chicken pot pie

My husband drives an 18-wheeler. As you can imagine, fast food and truck stop fare is our general fare. We really wanted some real food today.
Boy, oh boy, was the fried chicken real and REAL GOOD! Along with that, we had y'alls slaw and deviled egg potato salad. They were scrumptious, too!
Not only was all that great, but so was the service, and the store was/really nicely set up, with a good variety of products.
You can bet that our next trip out this was won't include fast food, because we'll be back for the chicken, potato salad and slaw! YUM YUM!
(I'd have added photos of how good it looked, but it looked SO good that we forgot to take a picture and started eating!!

Very nice place for groceries

I worked as a Courtesy Clerk at Safeway when I was 17! I learned all about customer service. Either Safeway has dropped the ball, or they don’t have mystery shoppers anymore bc the friendliness was not there the day I went to pick up soda.

We stayed at Days Inn and discovered this GEM of a store. Such friendly folks here. Got a few grocery items for our hotel stays. I asked produce gal for an orange box and she immediately handed me one and made sure it was clean. Upon checkout, the cashier thanked us for shopping there.

Clean.
Accesible staff.
Would like to see more gluten-free products, tho.
And some good tasting corn tortillas... Noticed they recently got a new brand of flour ones that taste more authentic than what they usually sell there. A+.

One of the better grocery stores we’ve been to! For a small town, it is a good size store with quality meats and produce. To the naysayers, if you only saw the meat & produce in the last town we stayed in you would be equally amazed. Grocery store prices are always a touch more than Walmart, but Walmart doesn’t put forth the care and quality this Safeway does. The bakery offered some really good treats and the store even has a Starbucks. This is a top notch store run very well with friendly staff. A little snug getting in and out, gotta work with the space you have. Great store!

I love you Safeway!! We have the exact same Safeway in Canada!! Great food, great quality, excellent customer service and a great rewards card!!! Funny though in Canada Safeway we have every amazing style of perogies made to man but Willcox Safeway, none? Is that just a Canadian food eh?

Safeway in Willcox AZ is always a great experience even if they're the only game in town lol. The pharmacy is superb and open 7 days a week. You can't beat that in a small town.

Vail safeway is top notch!!!! Huge store,gourmet food choices,staff excellent,clean store.we enjoy the short drive for this store. Never disappointed they stock unbelievable items. Go there we love Tres Leeches cake! They make the best

Great selection on fresh produce. The meat department is wonderful. The deli department is great. And all the employees are helpful.

Always good except for the delie they didn't even put wax sheets between the cheese and you couldn't get them apart, didn't slice the ham right and this was the second time I have told them about this yet keeps happening, but other than the deli it's a friendly staff and easy entry to it,

We stayed in the hotel across the parking lot. This is a great store. We bought our dinner and lunch there every day that we were in Wilcox. I wish we had a Safeway in Central Arkansas. The Kale salad is to die for and I really need the recipe. I think I ate it every day along with their hot soups up front when you come into the store.

Store is clean and we'll stocked. Items easy to find. All employees that I encountered were courteous but very friendly as well.

Having moments before just gotten out of the hospital and going to Safeway to fill my prescription, I had to hobble in on crutches. Right away so many offered help and they immediately got me a cart. The pharmacy was quite attentive and expedited my purchase, both times! The Rx wasn't right and I had to return to the hospital to get it corrected (the last thing I needed!), but in the end the goal was accomplished. I was very happy with the outcome, and even more impressed that the Pharmacist talked to me one on one to advise of precautions with the 2 interactive drugs I got, as well as my concerns since the main Rx was opioid based. I was very happy and impressed with the Pharmacy and everyone else that assisted me throughout. An employee even walked with me to my truck to make sure I made it safely since I'd never been on crutches. Highly recommended!
